...but their 2 wins were against Liberty (whom they coughed up 21 points to) and South Alabama. And they had an L vs. Wake Forest. Not exactly a football powerhouse there. So...UC is decent, yes...but, more to the point, NC State blows.

Both of these defenses are awful!

Eh? Not worldbeaters, but we're almost through the 3rd quarter and they've allowed 14 points and 286 total yards to NC State. They have a fumble recovery, two INTs and 5 sacks, as well. That sucks?
Hell, I'll take that every day of the week.

If they don't give up a touchdown in the fourth quarter, I will re-evaluate the quality and caliber of the UC defense.

Look at what happened when they played Tennessee...yikes. That QB tore Cincy's D a new one. And, as I've said, NC State blows. But as far as the game stats go tonight...yeah, more than good enough. A lot of pressure, a lot of sacks, not too much yardage, some turnovers...all said, a solid night for the UC D.
I would think they'd be going into prevent mode for most of the rest of the game, so they are likely to bleed more yards now. But, at this point, they just want to make the tackles in bounds.

The D players will be well rewarded by the Cincy student faithful tonight.

Isaiah Pead is a great back. Quickness, speed, really nice build and size. Dude is a stud. Best senior back in the country by far. Amazing Vision also.

He's a Columbus native.

They did a tad bit. I know him pretty well actually. I live in Columbus also. I play high school football close to where he played at Eastmoor. I think it was a grades thing if im not mistaken. He was a beast tho at Eastmoor. I remember him gashing defenses like it was yesterday.

I know Pead personally (my brother is on the team) and from what I understand they either A) Didn't offer him or B) Didn't offer him in time. Understanble, and I think he made the best choice for him at the end of the day.

Dear God, you know it's a bad game when the commentators bring up iCarly.

Figured it would just be a matter of time before that slip-up was YouTubed or otherwise Interwebbed. I was hoping that when she sent it back up to the booth, there would be laughter, as is sometimes the case.

The Bearcat (aka binturong) can make chuckling sounds when it seems to be happy and utter a high-pitched wail if annoyed.

NC State's middle linebacker is a beast.
