LaMarr Woodley in Dark Knight Rises
LaMarr Woodley, Ben Roethlisberger, and James Farrior all filmed cameos in the Dark Knight Rises. This is going to be fun to point out to all my non-Michigan fan friends.
According to this:
http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/11219/1165781-66.stm
LaMarr passed on being in uniform on the field because the uniforms were UnderArmour, and he's a Nike guy.
""I wasn't willing to lose my brand Jordan endorsement so I passed on it," said Woodley, who signed a new six-year, $61.5 million contract Friday that made him the highest-paid defensive player on the team. "I wasn't taking any chances. I wasn't trying to risk my deal."
Nothing says bring your kids like hiring a rapist for a cameo.
Edit: Rapelisberger obviously. Love me some Woodley.
Yeah, I mean, just look at all those times Roethlisberger has been convicted! Seriously, keep the stupid names off this site, please.
You can tell me what to do when you own me, honkey.
Compare his interest in controlling your language to Nazi oppression and Goodwin this beast
I thought it would have to get far more harsh for someone to sneak a Nazi reference in here....
Not complaining, of course. Personal gripes with off-field behavior aside, as long as Ben is a free man he can film cameos. Actually, I am rather interested in seeing how this looks on film.
I see you decided to go with the less frequenly used "honkey" spelling. Still, technically correct, but I'm not sure it carries the true roots of the racial slur like it could.
Wiki actually has an interesting history of the word:
Not singling you out, b/c I don't know if you commented, but I made the same point about Casey Anthony in one of the OSU threads and got hammered. Apparently, the court of law and court of public opinion are two very different things. The later is what matters here. Lesson learned.
I think Casey Anthony is great.
Rapelisraper totally raped that chick though and I think women are awesome.
I am not a huge fan of kids though so Casey is all good in my book plus, you know, she's hot and stuff.
You cannot seriously believe that "no conviction = innocent", do you? If so, boy are you acting naive.
No, he was pointing out that Roethlisberger has never been found guilty of sexual assault, which is a reasoned response to the use of "Rapelesberger," which is childish.
Conviction or not, he's still pretty rapey.

...but the presumption of guilt is a bit irksome.
I can't imagine the prosecutor dropping the case if he felt he had even a shred of evidence. Prosecutors seem to take an evil delight in taking down celebrities. I'll stick with the presumption of innocence here.
And Batman kicks his ass. Ever think of that?

<br>(Ok, doubtful).
What does Roethlisberger have to do with Michigan?
Also, this movie is going to be awesome. A friend of mine is working on some of the audio for the movie and has shown me some of the pictures from the set. Although all the extras converging upon downton Pittsburgh lately has made driving around the city terrible.
"What does Roethlisberger have to do with Michigan?"
Presumably, he could identify it on a map. I would imagine he has at least heard of Ann Arbor and the University Of Michigan. Beyond that, not a whole lot.
...in a Miami University blowout loss to Michigan in 2004.

Roethlisberger only played against Michigan in 2001, his freshman year. 18/35, 195 yards, 2TD/3INT. Michigan won 31-13. I seem to remember we may have even knocked him out of the game. He declared for the draft after his junior year in 2003.
I can't wait for this movie, the only movie I'm truly anticipating in the future.
ever hear of a little sequel called Zoolander 2? You may now retract your statement.
Bb's been taking crazy pills
Oh. My. I didn't even know that was being made. Wow, I do retract my statement, its one of 2 future movies that I am anticipating.
"Lamarr Woodley kills people"? Seriously? People are way too cavalier with using killer as some sort of label of esteem.
Please tell me this isn't serious.
Apparently he's never seen "Happy Gilmore."
I saw the hockey team in a movie my parents were watching the other day. Its called Litle Black Book and my dad told me about it, so I went through the movie to find it, and sure enough, they make a breif appearance heading out for practice while one of the characters is making a phone call at a hockey rink. (he's apparently a sports journalist or something)
Roethlisberger thought Anne Hathaway shot him the do-me eyes on set.
I would much rather be childish than some loose butthole old doucher.

Lol at people bringing up ancient history. Ben Roethlisburger is a solid QB who plays hard on the field. Period. I don't care what he does off the field.
Good for him for appearing in the Dark Knight, along with the other Steelers.

Yea LOL at him grabbing a girl in a club and dragging her into the restroom to rape her while his posse keeps her friends from coming in to stop him. LOL. So hilarious. I am glad he plays hard out there. We should let by gones be by gones. LOL.

Steeler fan, huh?
