Hey it's Seth I've completely thread-jacked this thread from the guy who suggested it because it's helpful to be collecting all the feedback in one spot. Maybe not ALL the feedback--but if you've noticed any bugs in the site post them here and if you have constructive criticism we very much appreciate it. The developers are also going to be in this thread. Even if we can't always respond, you're being heard.

OT - Ann Arbor anniversary dinner recommendations

My wife and I, who met as students at Michigan, will be in Ann Arbor for our 10th anniversary next week, and we're looking for a nice place for dinner (just the two of us).  The original plan was to go to the Gandy Dancer, but we've heard from multiple people that it has gone downhill, so I thought it prudent to look at other options.

So what say you, MGoHorde?  Where would you want to go for a nice dinner in Ann Arbor?

When the first description for the new site came out, I was under the impression that the scrolling down to get to stories was going to come to an end. It was described as a magazine layout. But instead we've landed on some odd hybrid of the previous system and the magazine layout.

My question is, does anyone ever click on those thumbnails on purpose? Even if you've been disconnected for a week or so, wouldn't it still make more sense to just scroll down and read the posts in order?

As you may have noticed, I've put on some weight in the past year. (About 15 pounds, to be precise.) My blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol levels were all within healthy ranges when last checked, but I don't sleep as well or have nearly as much energy anymore. I don't live close to a gym, and Minnesota winters favor a climate controlled workout environment.

So my question is, what is the best treadmill value out there? Is buying used from 2nd Wind Outlet a viable strategy? What should I prioritize in my buying decision? Are warranties necessary?

Just saw this in the alumni e-newsletter. Apparently, in the basement of the Duderstadt Center, there is a video game library collection (the Computer & Video Game Archive, or CVGA) that is open for anyone to come and play.

That's pretty cool, man. And a few select quotes...

So, with Ford and Chrysler essentially abandoning the car market, and many other automakers investing heavily in crossovers, are cars truly dead?

I've been fairly open in my slow conversion to sedans. I was a (kind of) early adopter to the SUV scene back when the people in the school of natural resources were bemoaning the popularity of SUV's. I had an XJ Cherokee and loved it.

I would first just like to express my gratitude to everyone who participated in this game over the last few months.  It was been quite a grind for us mods.  We've had to deal with several moles, switching discord servers, our userbase being nerfed 3 times, and our fair share of adversity along the way, but you all made it more than worthwhile.  I especially want to thank the mgoboard and Seth for your support.  We don't do nearly as well in this game without you.  In fact, we received a lot of flak from other teams for our ability to successfully use mgoblog as a medium for recruitment.
