I like the NCAA Hockey tournament because it does a good job of providing exciting hockey, with every game deciding your fate. If the goal of the tournament is to crown the best team in college hockey, however, it definitely falls short.
I agree almost exactly. #1 would be the beginning of football season when you're just getting back into the swing of things and you don't really know what kind of season you're in for just yet. Plus I've been waiting for it for months and months, and I'm ready for some action again.

People are worried about his size and offer list, but he seems impressive to me. Plus, I love any kid that is willing to switch his commitment last minute because of an offer by Michigan.
Can't count on forcing turnovers all the time, but a nice half by the Lions. Impressed they were able to keep them out of the endzone on that final drive.
Sooooo much better than the MSU jerseys we wore. I kinda like the block M on the shoulder, but I think it would be ever better without the stripes on the shoulder. I am very glad to not see any piping, though!
You're bringing up one football game when he had the ridiculous streak of touches without a lost fumble. It's true that his ball security wasn't good in that game, but that doesn't take away from the fact that it was stellar throughout his college career.
I had defended Suh in the past, but I definitely won't be doing so for a while. Really need to see some improvement in the sportsmanship aspect of his game, that's for sure.
I can understand some of the draw of ebooks, I still can't say I like them. Almost every book I've bought in the last couple years I've lent out to someone who was interested in reading it after I was finished. And I've borrowed a book series myself before then turning around and buying it because I liked it so much.
I know several people, including my girlfriend, with kindles, but after trying to use one I was left unimpressed.
Never wanna see something like this happen to a young athlete, we can all agree on that. I'm glad that he was smart enough to make the hard decision to walk away before anything else happened.
It makes me sad that you mention the NBA finals and yet leave out the Stanley Cup playoffs... but I agree with most of what you said. I'm not sure if I'll be able to wait so long to see if we're any good. *sits and waits*
I was thinking similarly. If only they had stopped Illinois in the first OT when it was 1st down on our 4. There was some improvement, but not enough. The biggest improvement was 3rd down conversion (6/16 I think).
