OT: Lions-Saints Playoff Game Open Thread

Submitted by M-Wolverine on

OK, this other games sucks, so get all your positive Lion talk in now, since not being able to hold a 2nd string QB to under 40 has probably killed any chance of seeing the Lions win their second playoff game in most of our lifetimes. At least I'm not still in New Orleans for it.

Hopefully I get to sing, " Forward down the field" multiple times in front of my Chicago relatives tonight. Regardless of what happens its been a great season, having said that GO LIONS!!!!

but damn, you have some trust in your team. I know, I know Nawlins' and home-field advantage but hell you guys are talented enough to keep up with them.

P.S. Need Lions to win or lose by less than 11 to win my league pick'em :)

I do think NO wins, but I think it'll be closer than many expect.  If Detroit can limit the dumb penalties, but still keep their intensity, the game will be close at the 2 minute warning.  Whetther that's the 1st half or the 2nd depends on the secondary (I'm looking at you Eric Wright).

We're in for a shoot out folks.

EDIT: And as soon as I say that, Colston fumbles! And the Lions got it back! Wow!
