Autocorrect Down to the field, not the owls....
My kids had a great time We were seated where the entire offense walked up the stands and they got to high-five them all. We didn't wait in the lines and went down to the owls and played on the field and met the freshmen. My son got pics and autographs from Magnusson, Chesson, Darboh, Pipkins, Braden, Ringer, Godin, Jarrid Wilson, and Henry within about 45 min. My boys had a blast.

Presence in Michigan Actually, Toyota's North American Technical Center is in Ann Arbor, and two years ago or so announced an expansion that would add 400 engineering jobs to the area (making a total of about 900). This sort of thing can happen to any company, especially large corporations.* That being said, the Big 3 should use this to shift their momentum. For GM and Ford, I don't think this could have come at a better time.....Chrysler on the other hand....eh. *I work for an OEM, but not Toyota.
Maybe not the best but he was pretty awesome.... Claus Borgnakke, Thermo, ICE. "If your answer is 10% off it may not seem like its that bad, but if your employer takes 10% of your pay off you'd think its significant" I didn't like thermo, but he made it pretty fun. Plus, Car and Driver consults with him when they have questions on the dynamics of combustion engines.
No problem initially either way The problem with Winston was not being recruited or the fact he was allowed back onto the team. The problem was how he was allowed onto the team. Winston committed a violent crime as an adult, served jail time, then left jail to go immediately to football practice. Winston did not appear to have to earn his way back onto the team. Dorsey made mistakes over 2 years ago, has been clean since. I think if Dorsey committed these acts in the past 6 months-1 year, Michigan could not take a chance on him. Furthermore, I expect if he is arrested for anything while at Michigan, he will be punished harshly. Dorsey has admitted to his mistakes and seems sorry for them. Winston never even apologized.
Scheduling issues I think it would create too many scheduling issues and imbalance of home/road games. If it rotates that often, balancing the schedules that quickly will be more difficult and making sure teams trade home and road games against each other would be very difficult, especially in the year immediately following the rotation. Also, it doesn't really allow for good "peripheral" rivalries to develop. Having constant divisions will help the rivalries between schools within that division, whereas rotating will not allow them to develop. Otherwise, I think it is a good idea and if practical would certainly make things interesting.
Did you hear Did you hear Tiger will not be asked to join the next US Ryder Cup team? Seems he get beat by European girls.
Forgot about Woolfolk Forgot about Woolfolk, although that doesn't change my outlook too much unless Turner and Vlad turn out to be at least serviceable as true/rs freshmen
Luring coaches I think ND fans forget they are no longer a top-tier program, and any midwest school (including us) that thinks it can lure a successful coach from a top tier program in the south (like Florida, Alabama, or Oklahoma) is kidding themselves. OK, maybe Alabama but only because $aban will leave for the right amount of $. Per your side note, I want GERG to stay too, but don't let the OSU game think it was some great stride in our defense. Tressel played very conservative, but when they needed drives to keep a 2-score lead, they got them. He had Pryor throw only 17 passes against a terrible pass defense. He was just playing not to lose, I think they could have put up at least two more TD's if they let loose a little.
Player press conference Motivation to beat OSU is independent of record (ability may be another story). Did you listen to BG or the other players talk about beating OSU? BG said "If you can't get jacked up for this one, I don't know where you've been".
Double hells no Double hells no, RRod needs to beat OSU as much or more than making a bowl game.
Win Win: Thank the Sweet Lord that he hath slayed the Angry Michigan Blank Hating God for at least one day Loss: Shrug, then start praying that Justin Turner, Vlad Emilien, and Will Campbell turn out to be vicious man-beasts.
You make your own luck... those random/luck reasons are why we don't go after it in that situation. We are not good enough and the defense isn't good enough to bounce back from bad luck plays, especially ones that could have truly been avoided.
That's not even... the stupidest call this year. I seem to remember a fake punt from inside our own 20 on the road against little brother. That being said, our best defense is keeping the ball in the offense's hand. We should not have gone after the punt.
I do take some joy From watching ND fail miserably in BCS bowls, making it clear that they get in on name recognition only.
Or even Dhani Jones
Woodson - D, Long - O Woodson - D, Long - O or any linebacker or any safety
Same can be said for the Yankees As far as bringing up talent through the organization or through trades, the Yankees have done a lot of that as well: Current roster includes the following players brought up through the organization Jeter, Posada, Petitte, Rivera, Cano, Chamberlain, Hughes, Cabrera, Gardner. A-Rod and Swisher were acquired via trade (since we aren't counting those either). I still don't see the Red Wings are that different because whether you bring them through the organization or acquire them by trade/free agency, they paid top dollar to keep them in town, using their money to their advantage. I still see a lot of parallels between the two teams, but that doesn't mean I think they are not a great organization. The Wings are a great organization, but the Yankees develop a significant amount of their talent as well.
Nobody in Michigan seemed to mind.. Nobody in Michigan seemed to mind when the Red Wings were the Yankees of hockey, spending the most and winning (Hasek, Hull, Hatcher, Shannahan, Robitaille, Chelios). From 1999-2004 (Pre-salary cap) the Red Wings had the highest payroll 4 times and 2nd highest the other 2 times, winning their division every year and a cup in 2002 (when they had the highest payroll) of those years. In that period, they spend an average of 61% more that the NHL average team payroll. Not to mention the Tigers having the 3rd highest payroll in the American League. If the Tigers had an average payroll wouldn't people be upset that Ilitch wasn't trying to win and was cheap? People are only offended when their team isn't the one winning. 99% of fans wish their owners cared about winning so much.
Good Luck Sorry to hear that. Good Luck, it is something that many of us worry about every day
