"NOTEBOOK: Colts defensive backs coach Al Williams could be a possibility for the U-M defensive coordinator job. He has worked in Indianapolis since coming from Tampa in 2002 with head coach Tony Dungy. He spoke during the 2010 Super Bowl week to the Chicago SunTimes about his desire to be a coordinator."
It's interesting when you conduct some research and find out who OSU considered before the hiring before Tressel... In the Wednesday, January 17th, 2001 edition of SI.
"Others who either interviewed or spoke with Ohio State officials about the job included Oakland Raiders coach Jon Gruden, Oregon coach Mike Bellotti, current Buckeyes assistant head coach Fred Pagac, former Ohio State and NFL linebacker Chris Spielman and Stanford head coach Tyrone Willingham."
I live in Spring Lake and there are miles and miles of bike paths around Spring Lake. You won't find much regarding food in SL, but Old Boy's Brew House is okay. Down town Grand Haven is fun. Kirby Grill, Snug Harbor, Tip-A-Few(great Mexican food) and Rose Bud are the best for food and drinks. They are also pretty decent night time attractions. The beach in GH is awesome. You might consider booking a charter if you like to fish. Steelhead and Salmon are running right now. You can take kids north to Michigan Adventure where there's a water park and amusement rides. Not bad for a small town park. If you go further North you can go to Silver Lake and go on the dune rides. If you can get your hands on a boat the water around the area is great. Lots of "talent" on the many boats you'll find there. If you want to head South I hear Holland is decent. Good luck and enjoy the vacation!
He's probably peeved at that fact that Michigan, with a ton of freshman, sophomores and juniors almost beat his mighty spartans! Better enjoy this one coach! It's going to be your last for quite a while!
I ordered mine and received it within six days. I didn't receive an email to indicate that it had shipped so I emailed Brian. He got me in touch with the Underground and they took care of everything! TOTALLY satisfied with the service and shirt! GO BLUE!
First, I am relatively new to the site and I'm still learning the do's and don'ts. An while I appreciate all the hard work that Brian and others put into this blog I find it amazing that you can be so rude to someone who, like yourself, is just looking for and trying to share good Michigan Football info. I'll take your advice on trying to be more careful about reading the entire content, but do you have to jump all over a fellow fan?!?
Any word on what Michigan commit Marvin Robinson is doing? I saw something on the Rivals website about him, but it didn't say if he is decommitting, committing, whatever...
I believe they showed him on the sidelines with a shoulder injury?!? They were messing with the shoulder when he was laying on the sidelines so I am assuming that is correct.
How in the heck can ND drop from the AP Poll?!? That game could have been won by either team. Don't get me wrong... I bleed Maize and Blue and I'm not a ND fan by any means, but I don't get how they are dropped like that?!?
I don't think it was the calls that were bad I think it was Clausens decision to go with the deep receiver. Look at how they dinked and dunked us all day for the 10 - 12 yard pass... Why the hell didn't he just do that considering we were playing 15 - 20 yards off the ND receivers. I don't know that I blame Charlie for that one. Take a look at the balding man behind center... Gotta be some blame there too! GO BLUE!
Not sure if anyone has seen the shoes that the tennis chick was wearing, but can you imagine those shoes with blue instead of pink and cleats on the bottom!!! Talk about AMaizing shoes!!! Also, not sure if the link works or not, but thought I would try anyway

I will never, ever, EVER, root for Ohio State! I don't care if every Big Ten team lost and they are our last hope! Never! They suck worse than the girl who broke up with me in 10th grade for the basketball team captain. Never, ever will I root for them! I would rather have a tooth pulled with no pain meds! I would rather have each hair on my sac pulled! I don't even think this rant comes close to saying how much I hate them. Now, they did stick up for RR when he was in trouble with the NCAA, but that still doesn't mean I am going to root for them. I hope USC pounds them again 35 - 3 like last year! GO BLUE and Bucs SUCK!
Can't we just play a little football and settle this on the field! Screw the M Club and their elitist members! Let's Go Blue! Get em' Rich Rod! GET EM"
Think about this... Many people are saying that if RR leaves this year or next it will set the program back for YEARS due to the fact that we will then be set up for a spread offense. Would it be inconceivable that we would look for another spread coach to help keep the program viable??? Brian Kelly?!? Would we turn to another pro style coach? Les Miles, another "Michigan Man" (I hate that term)?!? These are the things that keep me awake at night... I'm obsessed with Michigan Football!!! Go Blue!
Yes, it's nice to see our fellow Big Ten teams coming to the rescue. I still can't root for them though. Go Trojans! Also, has anyone heard from Coach Carr yet?!? Has he spoken up in defense of RR?
C'mon now... Is this what it's coming to?!? Don't drop to Rosenburgs level. Let it go and support RR and Michigan Football. THAT is what we need right now!
I hate the saying "winning cures all ills" but he has to win. Åt least 7 wins and I'm hoping that he shocks the college football world and goes 9 - 3 or better! I support Rich Rod and want him here! He can and will do great things if we just quit tearing him down. I, for one, believe that we are at the bottom of the proverbial "barrel". If he can just get through this stuff and have a "successful" season...
I'm not even close to being an O fan, but great comment. It's only a game, but it's a game that can cut you wide and deep. It hurts and we just want the pain to go away!!! Go Blue!
