No, I don't want any expansion. And if we were to expand, not them. Then again, why would we want to play Wisconsin more than once every six years if it means we get to make road trips to Maryland?? /s
"For the second year in a row, the Jayhawks rank last or next-to-last in the Big 12 in rushing offense, rushing defense, passing offense, passing defense, pass efficiency defense, total offense, scoring offense, scoring defense, third down offense, third down defense, sacks and sacks allowed."
Which isn't to say I necessarily agree with the firing, just something to consider.
Keep in mind that some of the money these schools are making goes to the corrupt bowls like the Fiesta Bowl. It's insane that people that contribute almost nothing like these bowls do get such a huge slice of the income generated by the athletes.
I'm unsure why so many people think Iowa will be better than Wisconsin. Wisconsin's offense will be among the best in the country and Iowa (as has been oft-discussed) will likely revert to the mean and has a mediocre offense. Iowa's D will be better, but I don't think it'll be that much better.
If you could have picked ONE person on the team whose injury would be crippling to Michigan's success, it would Woolfolk. So he got hurt. Seems like that's the logical sequence things follow these days.
As long as the defense improves this year, I think we'll be fine. In this guy's opinion, a qualified coach should at least have 4-5 years at a school to prove themselves; at least give them a year with their own recruits as seniors.
And if we can just get through this year, I firmly believe we'll be excellent in 2011.
you wouldn't think it's the Wings' year. But watching them play lately makes me think they're the same old dominant team, so why not this year? The West's top teams have been struggling lately, and the East as a whole is pretty terrible this year.
that nobody is saying our team looks terrible the way Brian Kelly is describing Notre Dame. I think it would make me feel better to see another program go through a rough transition like ours.
If you want to make a national title run, it pretty much has to be at least a two-year push. If you have a bad year, next year when your players are older and you're a better team you're still being hurt by the previous year because you have a weaker strength of schedule. People on the national stage will say things like "_____ is undefeated, but they're only a second tier Big Ten team so we'll ignore them."
And that's how "just wait til next year" becomes "wait til two years from now."
It's probably bad that I almost don't want our players to do well in the Olympics so they can play less games and rest up.
When it comes down to it though I'll be cheering for Sweden and other Wing-laden Olympic teams though, I like our players.

Michigan and Alabama both wear home jerseys. Blue vs. Crimson would look spectacular out on the field.
Love seeing a commitment from a guy with OSU, MSU and ND offers.

Ah well, positive thoughts.

That sentence killed me.
How does the son of a former Wolverine grow up an OSU fan?
What exactly is the hard way? I hope no one was injured.
but I guess they stand to make more money this way. Man, this will be interesting if true. What if only some teams accept?

Looks like it's a retro uniform or something. Looks awfully close to Michigan's block M to me though.
