You are kidding, right? The N.Carolina game was the NC game....

North Carolina beat UM for the national title not Kansas.

UM beat Kentucy and North Carolina beat Kansas in the final four.

Oh, I am still confused. The schedule does not indicate........

that the last game is senior night. I need help. Please message board god...help me.

I will take your word for it though because you have 13,200 points. Or maybe I shouldn't take your word for it for the same reason.

Hey, message board police, the last game of the season has not..

always been senior night in previous years. Get over yourselves.

And that is because 5000 State fans will be there*

n

I am aware of the ticketboard. Have sold many there but.....

this is so last minute and I am leaving for A2 for the weekend in a couple hours and wanted to get this out there quicker, with more traffic.Thanks.

Unless you have been to Autzen, don't say that Iowa game....

was even in the same ballpark as Autzen. I was there in 2003. The game from start to finish was louder than any one  moment you could pick as amazingly loud moments in the big house.

1997 OSU

N.Dame last year.

Iowa late this year

MSU in 2004.

Autzen is a headache waiting to happen for 3 straight hours.

I have already contacted him......

and hope to hear back at some point. My message? Keep RR. Don't start a N.Dame coaching carousel.

He is going to be a good player for another university...

if some of you get your wish with RR. I am not saying one or even 30 recruits is a reason to keep a coach but this class and the last two currently on campus will likely be decimated with an RR departure. I know, I know....fans say that all the time, then the new coach comes in and convinces most players to stay. Don't see that happening here unless J.Harbaugh or other does what many said RR should have done, which is use the other coaches scheme for at least a year or two in order to play to his talents.

great seats.

row 7, near the net UM shoots at twice, right across from the students and band

All I have to say is that UM better score 40+...

per game the rest of the way because they aint giving up less than 35 to most teams this year.

Little brother forever. It is bad enough that the....

national media barely even knows they have a football team. Now the local media has completely ignored them since about halftime of the UConn game.

I was watching Maravious about an hour before the game during...

warmups. He was loose as a goose, having a great time, and getting in the ear of the other receivers and various other players saying who knows what. Good teammate.

No. Not at all. If anything I think he was praising DR

a

Not just mom. Mike Boren is jewish too.

a

I agree with you 100 pct. I think once the euphoria....

from the UConn game leveled off, you realize the reality is we have a lot of holes/question marks.

Now, those holes/question marks could swing to the positive side or the negative side. It is too early to tell.

IMO we will learn way more about the team, win or lose after this weekend and at IU.

I also still fear MSU and Iowa may have too much of a power game for us although we appear to not only be faster on D this year, but bigger and stronger.

I agree. Im not sure what the appeal of those...

seats are. I would love to hear from someone who has actually purchased them rather than sat in them as a guest what the appeal is. Maybe I am missing something other than that some older people who dont like noise and never want to be outside but still want to be in the stadium. Those seats have a very press boxy feel to them.

Having read this response from you and your edit........

a couple of the points are more understandable to me. Your friend had the really high priced seats behind the glass. An usher told me that was the spot they had the biggest problems with the speakers. Still not sure why such a glare or trouble seeing the scoreboard. If I sit in the seats I was during a future game I will checkout the sightline to the scoreboards.

When in those seats you mentioned or anywhere behind the glass, there is almost no noise. Those are some high quality windows. There are a TON of speakers lining the ceiling on the outside part of the fourth level that amplified the band sound, just like the speakers on top of the north scoreboard did.

You are very naive #1. While WDIV may be wrong....

There is no reason to believe one word coming out of Tate's mouth or his dad's. It is completely in his best interest to say nothing other than "Tate is never transferring".....for multiple reasons I might add.

Maybe he stays, maybe not. But if you or anyone else are counting on him staying becuase of his dad's comments you are nuts.

Amazing how people can see things so differently...

I sat in the club seats, level 4. Let me comment on all of your bullets with some explanation.

It will be nice when it is cold and rainy but some fans will dress right and still stay outside.

Not sure what sun was glaring on the TV screens but I viewed all 10+ screens inside level 4 and had no problem seeing any of them.

I had no problem seeing either scoreboard. Was never an issue. Maybe it was an issue in level 3 for some reason if that is where your friend sat.

The band sounded the same as always when the mics were off...soft. An usher told me that they were having trouble with the speakers in the club areas the whole game but that they would fix them by the 18th. When the speakers were working the band was plenty loud. The speakers near me were working 90% of the time.

I thought the crowd noise echoed through the club seats the whole game. It was deafening where I was sitting all game. I was surprised how vocal most fans were in the club seats given the stereotypes of which kinds of fans were supposedly purchasing them.

With the sun, again, maybe this was a 3rd level thing. For the most part, the sun never made it in the 4th level...at least past the first 1-2 rows.

I totally disagree with being too far from the field. Yes, the seats are physically further than say the 50th row but the angles and sightlines were created so perfectly that I felt like I was hovering over the field and could see everything.

Wrong....the writers and posters at wolverine.com..........

have almost nothing to say about MSU football because there is nothing to say. They have been a joke. They are a joke. They will continue to be joke. And yesterdays news from the big ten confirmed what the big ten/midwest thinks of the present and future of spartan football....nothing.

Im an old geyser by m.board standards but I want more, yet better

rock music. Keep it coming. Just have a nice playlist and good timing.

Not only will all of those seats be filled every game but....

the capacity of 109,901 will never be the announced attendance anyway.

My guess is that the minimum announced attendance this year will be 112,000 which counts "extras" at the game that may not be sitting in actual numbered seats....club, suite, or otherwise.

Like him or not, Millen is a good analyst.......

a

Maize Outs once a year are idiotic. Just make every game...

a maize out. 20,000 students and about another 20,000 fans already wear maize to every game. Just make it the regular dress and the stadium will look as great as the ND Game last year every week.

Let me know when you need more shrooms......

Ive got some good ones.

Thus the problem with cheering good plays in a scrimmage....

for every good play in a scrimmage, especially long passes, runs, etc...there is an equally bad defensive play and vice versa.

Only one running back was coming out of that meeting.......

that was Jackson's choice of weapon.

What kind of poster are you? A 10 year old? You obviously....

dont know that there were also 2 year breaks in 83 and 84, 95 and 96, and 00 and 01.

UM played UCLA three times, Washington three times, Washington State, Boston College, Colorado, Miami of Florida, and Virginia during those other breaks.

This has happened before for good reason and with good results.

All that guarantees is that the............

freep is going to rehash the article of dirt on him that came up a couple months ago. The better he does, the more likely they try to hurt his reputation as an RR recruit.

My experience at Autzen

My experience at Autzen causes me to disagree with you. I do not think the fans are closer. Michigan Stadium has its fans in as close or closer proximity than any stadium in america.

There are 3 reasons Autzen is louder.

1) the huge overhangs, like at husky stadium hold in a ton of noise.

2) The stands go more up than out like at michigan stadium

3) fans scream their lungs out all game

Kinnick is not more open.

Kinnick is not more open. Kinnick and many stadiums like it have stands with a much greater incline which helps hold more noise in. Until you get to about row 80 in michigan stadium, the stands go out more than they go up.

Call the IU athletic

Call the IU athletic department and tell them what time you can be there. That is when kickoff will be. Nobody goes to those games. Although there may be more interest this year if IU is actually better and gets off to a good start.

yes, the one on washington

yes, the one on washington was great after games. band wore red pinstrip uniforms with old styly barbershop quartet hats. the place was pretty wild. singing, dancing, and usually celebrating michigan victories while i went often in the late 70s.

Yes, the location in between

Yes, the location in between Main and state, I believe off of washington was awesome. Great food. Great old time band. Great playlist. They had a space invaders video game there. I think 80-82, somewhere in there is when it closed.

Went often as a child in the late 70s.

3 Tickets in Section.......

22 (35-40 yardline on west side) row 60ish available for every home game this year.

First attempt is to sell entire package  before selling individual games.

I actually disagree. I think

I actually disagree. I think it is louder on the field. There have been many times where my opinion of the noise during a game was that it was very quiet. Then you read the paper the next day and the opposing qb said how loud it was.

Yes, many players have commented how quiet the stadium is too but those were under obvious circumstances....like nobody cheering.

Went to Autzen twice and it

Went to Autzen twice and it is true. Having said that, the 04 MSU game, after about 20,000 UM fans had already departed and the entire 97 OSU game was the loudest I ever heard the big house and that was before the renovations.

1970 A win vs. OSU would have

1970 A win vs. OSU would have made us 10-0 but I believe our season would have ended there as we played in the Rose Bowl in 1969.

1971 Would have been 12-0 with a win vs. Stanford. Could have shared title. Lost by 1 pt.

1972 Lost by 3 to OSU. Would have been 11-0. Could have shared title although no Rose Bowl berth again.

1973 Tied OSU. Would have been 11-0 with a win. Could have won or shared title in bowl game.

1974 Lost to OSU by 2 pts. Actually beat them but Lantry's field goal was called wide when it clearly wasnt. Would have been 11-0 going to Rose Bowl.

1976 Lost by 2 at Purdue. Could have been 11-0 going into Rose Bowl. Would have been playing for national title. USC beat us anyway.

1980 A team I think was the best of the last 40 years. Lost by 2 at ND. Lost by 3 at home to South Carolina. Gave up no touchdowns the last five games of the season, including Rose Bowl.

1985 Another great team. Lost by 2 at Iowa on a last second field goal. Tied at Illinois. 10-1-1.

1986 3 pt. loss to Minnesota at home ruined chances of playing for title in Rose Bowl. Lost to Cooper and ASU anyway.

1988 Missed a last second fg at NDame. Blew a 16 pt. 4th qtr. lead vs. Miami at home to lose by 1. Tied at Iowa. Great team.

1990 Lou Holtz called this team the best in the country, even at 9-3. Lost 3 games by combined 6 pts. Including the famous Desmond game.

Of course 2006.

I disagree. Get ads wherever you can without....

it looking like a hockey arena.

Strategically on the scoreboards. Maybe the fieldgoal netting.

I have no problem with it. As long as they promise to use the money to stabilize ticket prices.

Jack reached into their pockets and found.....

one black rock and one white rock. In watching many of the first episodes, there are so many other things I saw that seemed meaningless or at best irrelevant the first time around.

Huge fan. Addicted to no end. I highly recommend....

going on abc.com and re-watching as many of the first seasons episodes as you can. Unbelievable to watch those episodes and catch some things that seemed meaningless at the time.

For instance, anyone remember what Jack found in the pockets of Adam and Eve when the skeletons were first found in the caves in season 1? I totally forgot until I watched the episode again a couple weeks ago.

You didnt miss anything. It was a small, uneventful...

gathering. Good MMB music though.

Yes. I was there and my whole family had UM clothes...

on although we were unaware of the event. There was a UM Hillel Foundation/Alumni Association gathering for a few hours. Had to be at least a couple hundred folks with UM gear on today.

Wrong. Not legal outside the stadium. The policy is....

"This ticket shall not be sold above face value OR sold on University premises......Michigan is the only authorized seller of tickets to this game.........

remember that come MSU game this year and OSU game next year...

Baraka was convicted of something, Dorsey has not been. So....

maybe it is not ridiculous to bring it up.

Did UM COACHES get hammered about Shonte Peoples, David Terrell, William Peterson, Damon Jones(?), the K-Mart crew, and at least a dozen other kids in the 90s and 00's while Moeller and Carr were around?? I have read and heard fifty radio and m.board fans the last couple days talk about how news like this was never an issue when Bo and Moeller and Carr were coach. How quickly we forget. They are just out to get RR.

I guess Drew Sharp hasnt heard of M.Vick........

Rae Carruth, Plaxico Burress, and dozens of other football players who do not get away with everything.

What a tool.

Oh really Tim. Depending on what service you are looking at he..

apparently didnt do any reporting/investigating.

Rivals has UM at 19 right now and MSU at 28....9 behind.
Last year, Rivals had UM at 8 and MSU at 17....9 behind by my math. so how is this year different than last year?

Its not. Its called piling on.

What the heck are you doing asking...........

on this board. Dont you know there is a ticket exchange board on this site. You just ruined my night.

LOL*

n

I appreciate the link and will use it in the future. However....

is your world or the world of others on this board really going to come crashing down because a post on this board to sell tickets, which will likely only be up on the front page for an hour or so before it gets bumped to page 2 of the forum as new posts are added, is technically on the wrong board?

Im just trying to help out here. Unlike many fans who dont care who ends up with their tix, as evidenced by the OSU fball game and MSU bball game this year, when I cant use mine I am at least trying to get my low blue line seats, 40 yd. line football tix, and low blue seats at Crisler into the hands of people who really want them...at face value, rather than blindly putting them on stubhub and likely getting double face or much more for great and important games in all three sports, especially bball and football.

But again, I didnt know about that other page on this particular website. Still may use this main page though as I have sold many tix that way. If Brian wants to erase any future ticket posts then so be it. Not a problem.
