Apparently Michigan does not want the culture changed. If DB does not get Michigan's culture changed in three years should he also be fired? The end result for RR's ability to lead a fourth year of 20+ starters will now never be known.
This just seems to affirm how clueless Bill Stewart is as a head coach. Who else would stay on as head coach in this situation?
"We like you, but you are not good enough to coach here...but you can stay on for one more year...but we are hiring the next head coach now."
If I were Stewart I would be clearing out my desk today.
I also agree that RR needs at least another year to get the players far enough along in the system and to get the defense up to par which could come together next year and certainly in 2012.
I so hope he gets a chance to build off these practices and this bowl game. He knows how much time it takes to get to the level he desires for the team and I hope DB knows that as well. Go Blue!
I think WVU is trying to transition Stew out in a "nice" way, as they have come to realize what many saw with his hire after RR left - that Stew is not a head coach kind of guy, but a great assistant coach. The feeling in WV is that everyone likes Stewart, but they have come to see that he just does not have the head man charisma of a guy like RR. Even with winning records, ticket sales have dropped dramatically , there is not nearly the support or excitement among the fanbase as there was "back in the day" and some of the WVU fanbase is even looking back to the good old days when RR was there!
Some people seem to like the pro style pillow, thicker and more old fashioned. Others like the spread pillow that crosses over the width of the bed, thinner and newer style. It takes some getting used to especially if you have always used the pro style pillow.
This is not 2009 and most certainly not 2008. Ever since RR left WVU I have been excited to see his offense in the Big Ten. This is the first year RR has had the potential for the offense to work as effectively as the glory days at WVU. 2011 will be even more special! Go Blue!

Is anyone else missing RR more and more as each hour passes?
...until yesterday.

We will know more about this recruiting class in a year or two! Let's talk about it then.
I agree!

It is obviously from other threads that lasagna is better for building muscle.

Every gameday pre-game anticipation
Every Denard run or pass for + yardage
All the offensive records set
Every video leading up to the first game
Reports from spring practice
Brings a smile to one's face...nice post!
This should be fun to watch.

also in no particular order
Michigan over OSU at the Big House
Michigan over ND under the lights at the Big House
My other top sporting events would be:
The Masters
LeMans 24 Hour
F1 Monaco Grand Prix
Hopefully there will be lots of special teams work. It's all good though, time to work on everything!
Hoping for:
Gator Bowl win.
Denard sets 3 Gator Bowl records.
RR gets a 5 year extension.
Defense comes alive and holds MSU to 10 pts.
All is well again on mgoblog.
I've enjoyed reading the merits of "CC" labeled threads more than all the CC threads.

Denard's long ball touch pass to Roundtree,
Jrs. side steppin' TD,
