As it becomes a more common and known practice, increasingly marginal prospects will do it to get an edge, so instead of Andrew Wiggins doing it, it will be lower tier D1 players, etc... until guys that are not even NCAA calibur players will be doing it because they think they are good enough, or are encouraged by AAU coaches, family, whomever to do it, and then they graduate and are just an extra old kid who didnt get an athletic scholarship, and possibly didnt value education enough to get an academic scholarship, and they basically wasted a year of their life in 7th grade reducing their earning potential in whatever career they get into by 1 year. Once this starts happening the NCAA will have to step in and do something.
Sci Fi should make attempts to explain the improbable, thats what separates it from Fantasy. I'm not saying it has to be completely explained using current scientific principles, but there has to be an attempt. The Sci Fi elements of this movie were not the problem with it. in fact, if they had stuck with pure sci fi this would have been a better movie. The thriller/horror aspects of the movie really pulled me out of a pretty realistic sci fi world and just made it feel kind of cheesy. The character development, or lack thereof is what really destroyed this movie for me. The only character in the movie that really was relatable was the android. His lack of humanity was really well conveyed through his reactions/responses, as well as how others perceived him. I still don't really understand why anyone else was even there outside of the two main scientists, no one had very clear motivations in the first place.

nice to see someone with some balls, that was an impressive attack. Tomorrow will be really interesting. Andy worked hard today, and Evans worked to catch him. Watch for frank to attack on the final climb.
Really looking forward to seeing what happens, I have a feeling that having a few teammates around until the final climb could pay off for whoever has the strongest team. Sanchez and Contador will attack like mad men on the final climb if there is no separation. Poor Voeckler is going to kill himself to keep Yellow but he cannot do it, can he?
but the finish here is pretty similar to stage 16 where contador took a minute out of Andy Schleck. I dont see any reason why he won't try it again and see what happens, he needs time on the next three stages, and any chance to weaken his opponents he should take. The Schlecks as well as voeckler looked vulnerable, and it would be unwise not to press the attack and give them a day to "recover" if you can call that stage map recovery.
Tomorrow will be much like today with a hard climb followed by a tricky descent. I expect some more attacks on the final climb, maybe from Sanchez, I wonder who would get on his wheel. Then 2 days with hard mountain top finishes. If Andy Schleck has anything in him he will have to attack hard in these stages, he needs the time before the TT.
But that guy is an elite climber and rides a pretty good TT. I don't think he gets the respect of the other contenders, and I could see him escaping in the alps to take some more time from the other leaders. He's definitely my darkhorse to spoil the party (if the reigning olympic champion can be considered a dark horse). But overall at this point its Cadel Evan's tour to lose. his form in the mountaints looks good enough, and he should take a lot of time out of the others in the TT.
So far he has won the draft easily. First he makes out with his girlfriend immediately upon being picked and the whole arena erupts. Then in his interview when asked if being called the European Blake Griffin is fair, he responds with "Blake Griffin is the American Jan Vesely." This guy is fantastic, And I am rooting for him based solely on his draft day performance.
soony entered the zone, a defender challenged, and a favorable deflection kept the ball right at soony's feet in stride. he played it forward to moody who was posting up about 12 yards out, he gave it right back and soony buried it far post with his right foot.
I don't see how this is that much different than RR taking a chance at signing Demar Dorsey. 5 Star kid, but other schools were backing off him because they knew there was little hope in signing the guy. The only difference is academics vs. amateur status. I don't think many of us blame RR for trying to sign Dorsey, but we seem pretty quick to pounce on Calipari trying to sign this guy.
Then you saw the effectiveness of the Jet Tempo. On several Oregon drives they caught Stanford either tired, or in a mismatch on the line, and ran up and snapped the ball w/ 27-28 seconds and just ran their basic zone read plays over and over again. Stanford couldnt do anything about it.
if Denard injures his shoulder, like tate did last year, and if molk is lost for the season to injury like last year, as well as our 2 top Running backs getting injured, like last year, then this year could be exactly like last year. also if Junior Hemingway, oh wait that already happened.
less healthy every episode, its like supersize me but drawn out over years. I like the show, but they should have a couple of different hosts or something to spread around the calories.
Now if only they will get NFL Red Zone HD channel on their sports tier. Ridiculous not to have that option when you are already paying for the sports tier.
I've been watching the whole season on ESPN3. a great combination of rugby, soccer, and ultimate frisbee really. I really wish people played this here in the US, it looks like a lot of fun. the Geelong Cats are the best team out there right now, but don't sleep on St. Kilda, they have a great fight song.

Voeckler will either win the polka dot jersey or die trying. That man would ride through a brick wall for a bit of glory.

Watney... sneaking up on everyone.

That is all.

Thats a game worn Terrelle Pryor Jersey right?

I believe that is not actually scaffolding, but instead is the inside of the scoreboard.
L'alpe D'Huez is probably the most famous mountain in cycling.
Maybe the craziest single day of riding in the Tour that I have ever seen.

Having Mike Martin grinding on the winches would be a huge advantage. He could get a Spinnaker up in no time.

is killing The US team. He missed his mark on both goals.

fun times.
never forget that.
may it never run out.

terrible celebration.
we have controlled the ball in their end for the entire half except maybe 1 8 minute stretch .
now michigan seems to be out of position and wisconsin is pressing.
We are dominating early, I don't think Wisconsin has strung together more than 2 passes.

I remarked that watching that game was like watching Michigan from 10 years ago vs. Michigan 2 years from now.

lots of it.

wont play more than a half in those games, so his numbers aren't going to be too off the charts.

Stonum would have blocked the only guy back there after everyone else bit on the fake, and it would have been an easy six.
at this moment. His team is choking big time.
was as soon as it was over, Denard ran to join his teammates in the corner to sing the victors, and he crossed the entire field in like .2 seconds.

Senior Hemingway next year.
we do the "raising the roof with one hand" motion, the chop is reserved for an opposing 4th down. and yeah it definitely changed around 2000.
but what was the chop called before we turned it into a claw?
Thats a great link.
get an xbox360 arcade. I picked up one last week at walmart for 150 + a $50 gift card, so it was basically 100 bucks.
