Gyatdamn, the attention to…

Gyatdamn, the attention to detail. We're spoiled.

I know it's said every week but this is some great sh*t.

OMG UFR IS SO MUCH MORE FUN WITH A FUNCTIONING QB!!!!

Hard to believe...

...this was compiled by the Official NCCA March Madness channel – I went back, re-watched and tallied all of the highlights for each team.

1st Half:

Texas A&M: 4 "highlights"

Michigan: 1(!?!?!) – the Duncan Robinson transition dunk.

Weird.

2nd Half:

Texas A&M: 4 highlights

Michigan: 6 (3 are Charles Matthews rolls to the rim)

Better but still weird in a game where A&M never led and spent the majority of it down by 20+ and was basically out of contention by halftime theystill found a way to highlight 8 Aggie plays to 7 Michigan "highlights."

Maybe....

OR one could also see it as: "Offense got quality looks all game against a stout defense" BUT sometimes the shots just don't fall because basketball is weird man.

I drove in...

...with a couple of Houston Police Officers. They've been on the front lines here with the Harvey flooding. They are lifelong fans but it was their first time seeing Michigan football live. They said seeing so many Michigan fans together lifted their spirits after a long, long week. We've already started planning their first trip to the Big House on the drive back 〽️

Funny...

..I noticed the same thing right away. And the only reason is because I write right-handed but shoot a basketball left-handed (the only thing I do "lefty"). Makes me wonder if I'd never signed up for middle school basketball, if I would've ever figured that out.

The 59 point win prediction seems very much intentional...

Years like this (and posts

Years like this (and posts like this) are good reminders for fans of this basketball program to keep the bigger picture in mind: also to never forget the depths of where Beilein has rescued it from.

Years like this were the norm, not the exception far too recently. Can any fan of Michigan basketball a decade ago have ever imagined the 4-5 year run this program has just completed?

And looking ahead to the future, it's also comforting to know that JB has this program well positioned for sustained excellence regardless of how this season has gone. A squad in November that was hanging with Nova before the injuries return (hopefully) everyone but Max Bielfeldt. That's a tantalizing thought.

Imagine an entire offseason of growth and a 2015-16 season where some of this season's close losses turn to wins, some of those nailbiters turn into dominant performances. Viola. The future is still bright in Crisler. Trust Beilein. Trust the process. Go Blue!

Who the...

...hell downvotes this? Is that you Dave Brandon?

I know...

...it's probably best for our collective mental health to be cautious, especially after what we've all experienced over the past decade of Michigan football but for once in this process, I think we've earned he right to switch on the optimism machine.

The stars are aligning perfectly. The timing couldn't have been better in every sense of the word. All sources that haved proven to be the most accurate throughout this whole process are trending up, not down. Disney couldn't write a better script about an heir apparent, coming home and reclaiming his rightful destiny, restoring a once great power back to the annuals of College Football greatness.

That ain't Fred Jackson hyperbole. That's is the tale we are watching unfold before our eyes and even if Harbaugh politely declines, at least we'll look ahead knowing at least it wasn't the fault of some bumbling Fortune 500, CEO croons, so out of touch with what it really means to be "Leaders and Best."

"Leaders and Best." Hmmmm, well in our hearts we all know what that term means to us, I can't remember the last time I stayed up this late, excited about anything Michigan Football related. I'm guessing I'm not alone. That feeling proves we still believe it and the one  person who may know that phrase best has got a BIG, BIG decision to make over the next few days.

It's time to come home Jim, it's time to come home.

(P.S. - we are truly spoiled. While casual sports viewers watch the Ian Rapoport's and other bearers of "The Shield" make ass-clowns of themselves on national television, we're plugged into our iPads in bed, getting everything coming from the AD halls of AA in realtime. We owe this to you too, Brian, kudos on breaking every F5 keyboard within a 500 miles radius of the 734/517/313/947/and 248 area codes and beyond.)

Me too and I think...

...they do take out too. It's relatively close to everything also if you're coming from the Washtenaw Dairy area.

These are the times...

...we live in as supporters of the University of Michigan and we are spoiled. Our blog covers real timebreaking news, scoops on insider sources within the AD, follows flight trackers and provides extensive e-mail investigations with real life ramifications to those in power.

Well done, MGoBlog. Well done. We are truly spoiled, indeed

I went and dug up....

.....this little gem from back when Hoke was hired and half of the MGoCommunity chided Brian for his "childishness".

http://mgoblog.com/content/hoke-react-no-swearing

I take back everything that I said. You were right Brian, I was wrong.

Am I the...

only one who read the "he would make a good position coach" as a cleaned-up version of "know your place, boy."?

Do we have permission...

...to go back to the old format for 10 minutes and neg this d-bag into oblivion?  Because that would be fun.

He's really...

...good.  I'll see if he can put up his contact info in this forum if anyone needs different resolutions/ideas/etc.

Thanks for...

...the info.  I've updated the link to go straight to his gallery.  Hope that works for you.

Is it possible...

...that his lack of big time offers is partially due to his Cass connections or that he was/indicated he was leaning Blue pretty early on in the recruiting process?  I don't follow recruiting religiously, so can anyone confirm/deny this theory for me?

And the

...franchise been around long enough to establish some big rivalries with opposing fanbases too.

Don't worry, you can...

...still redeem yourself by naming your second born "Denard."

Find out whoever...

...down voted this thread and introduce them to the Boys from Pahokee in person.

Let's...

...bang each other!

I think...

...Jared is Andy's son, I believe. Can anyone confirm this?

Am I missing...

...something here?  I really hope this comment was some sort of sarcasm that I missed since that's what I took the board topic to be.

I can certainly...

...sympathize with that reasoning but having been through about 125 pages so far, I would strongly encourage everyone to read it at some point in the next two years.

I also lived in DC...

...during the 2009 season.

After deciding to actually be social, I went to Buffalo Billiards for the Michigan State game, Iowa, Penn State, Purdue and Illinois games.  Do the math...as fun as it is, that place is cursed

I was in a wedding for the Wisconsin game and I was in Ann Arbor for the Ohio State game, FWIW

NEVER AGAIN!

Another...

...well done UFR.

Totally LOL'ed at work watching the 3 for 1 Hopkins block.  Looks like purple dominoes

Thanks...

So do I click on...

At that point in...

...the game, after everything that had happened and when the ball is frozen in the air and time stands still, nothing is rational, really.

I don't understand...

....how this gets marked for "trolling" ???

We were...

...spoiled, having you with us here at MGoBlog.  Congrats on a well deserved promotion and thanks for the countless hours and time put into helping make MGoBlog what it's become.  I'm sure we're in good hands going into the future but your contributions will be missed.

Good luck and Go Blue!

When do...

You really...
