Yeah, I only know I got tickets in the "$400 level" and I've seen people mention a $225 level and a $325 level. So I wondered if the $400 level is at the top of the list or if they get more expensive.
(I only "care" because a buddy might join me and I want to tell him what his $400 is "buying.")
I got tickets through a family member who is a season ticket holder. He told me the seats are "$400-level" tickets. Is that the highest level? Trying to figure out where my seats might be.
"PS: There are way too many people interested in cost-control* for this ever to happen, but the real answer here is to eliminate scholarship restrictions. Then, you would never have to accuse coaches of pushing out one recruit to land another, because the schools that could afford it would just accept both and let competition win out. (The downside, such as it is, would be additional playing-time transfers, but there'd be more confidence that playing time was the actual reason)."
you do realize that this used to be the case, right? you used to be able to offer as many scholarships as you wanted. the byproduct is there would be the same 10 schools in the top 10 every year. remember when it was the big 2 and the little 8 that made of the big ten? that was due to having many more scholarships to give out. the reason the NCAA won't go back to that has nothing to do with cost-cutting measures. it has to do with parity.
but when you buy a ferrari you are buying much more of a known quantity then when you buy tickets to a watch a college football team.
now, if you got to the game and there was no seat for you or there was a post in front of you or no teams showed up, sure you'd have a complaint. but when you buy tickets to see a college football team, you are buying something very unknown. the team might go 12-0 and they might go 0-12.
you can still complain about the product, sure. but it's your choice to buy the lottery ticket that is a ticket.
this makes it sound like the paying fan has no choice in the matter. you think prices are too high? then don't buy the ticket or the hat or the cable package. brandon doesn't set those prices, we do with what we will buy at what price.
the market sets the price. if tickets were $100K a game, very few people would go. there is a point where tickets are TOO much. but we aren't there. and DB sees it as his job to make the most money on tickets.
i think what rubs me the wrong way is the way he's going about it.
i see all the games on TV. some of them start at 9a so i can watch them, feel like shit AND have the rest of a saturday to make up for it! i never spend money on tickets. i never run into an OSU or MSU fan. and the notre dame fans out here do realize even michigan beat them.
when i lived in michigan for 25 years i went to hundreds of games. but i left the state before things like a PSL existed.
when i watch games now, i am happy that so many of you spend hard-earned money to see our university play. am i a bad michigan fan for being glad i haven't spend a dollar on tickets in 10 years?
anyone have a link tothe CBC's call of the donovan goal? or easy-ish instructions to dancing around the fact that the CBC won't let you watch clips if you have a non-canadian IP?

This is not the overall goal, just what they want to get from this collective with the public, non-whales.

Hasn't it been said multiple times by multiple good sources that the Weiss thing has nothing to do with the so-called "sign stealing" thing?
That was for going to 1 game, not 30+, though.
No they didn't. And Livers sat on the bench and was standing in the locker room. He's hurt but not a broken foot.
he died a year ago.

Slow your roll.
Near the start of the interview, JM says Don Brown is an old man and someone (Angelique?) jokingly replies with, "You know you just got benched?"
i can't see him putting out that statement and being fired.
Highly unlikely.
"My soul is happy wherever my body takes me" seems like a perfect Smiths b-side.
this were a thing done each week. i mean, not questions from msu fans each week. i can only take so much but...

he's reporting a very impressive offer list, including usc, notre dame, osu, oklahoma, oregon, etc.

Eligibility. Anyone whose career finished up in 2005 or EARLIER in those three sports.
Right?
but a player can't be moving toward the line of scrimmage before the snap.
do i understand the rule incorrectly or did we get away with a false start on the sweet, awesome and amazing game-winning FG?
that song was on the radio in the detroit area in the mid-80s but all or at least parts of it are much older than the mid-80s..
