This list is completely arbitrary and not a genuine analysis of the relative merits of state fossils.

Didn't read through the whole list so SIAP. |

I didn't make it to the Indiana game but I was at the previous three. I noticed with each sequential game that the music was getting louder, more often and more bothersome. I liked the music against WMU. It pumped up the crowd and people seemed to enjoy it. But I think they're starting to go overboard. Keep it simple--two or three songs throughout the game at a reasonable volume. No one wants to hear speakers cracking. |

| 4 years 22 weeks ago | That's what I fear. |
Everything I hear about the 3-3-5 employed at WVU is that it got shredded between the 20s but held tight near the goal line. |
| 4 years 22 weeks ago | Who knows |
Rivals has an interview w/ Dequinta Jones' coach and he talked about how Hopson would be great b/c he always keeps the offense guessing by blitzing and heavy pressure. And isn't that what we heard about SS? Then we saw 10 yard cushions on all receivers and 8 men dropping. |

offered another DE today (or yesterday). 3 star from...somewhere. I forget. IMO these late 'meh' offers show that the staff isn't happy w/ depth at all... |

1) I have no idea about Robinson, but maybe he just wanted to stay in Florida and he considered that to be his best in-state offer. I don't think that's such a crazy idea. Throwing out the idea that he has a kid (true or false) is a bit much. 2) I think Stokes is no longer visiting this wknd. I don't have the source but I remember reading it - probably Scout. |

What's with the RR presser notes saying McGuffie being w/ the team by Saturday and will get carries? Is he still gone? Should I just shut down the internet? |
| 4 years 26 weeks ago | I definitely do not think |
I definitely do not think we're losing the next great one, but I am disappointed with the news. He's a freshman and who knows where he'll be in 1 or 2 years (college weight training, maturity, better vision). My biggest disappointment comes in the hit to the depth. Sure we have Minor, Brown, Shaw and Grady (Fitz next year - possibly some of those slot guys). But, we've seen how important depth is. Like you said, McGuff was playing b/c of the lack of another option. Also, I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple (Brown, Grady) of the RBs previously mentioned in the next transfer rumor... I definitely think Shaw is the premier back in the class. He finishes his runs, gets yards after contact and is willing to lay a block on LBs. He'll improve on all of these also. But depth is so important as shown this year. |
| 4 years 26 weeks ago | Good. I'd like to see him |
Good. I'd like to see him stay... Thanks for the info. |

Lots of sources to the contrary. I hope you're right. |
| 4 years 26 weeks ago | I don't think it's "ok." |
I don't think it's "ok." But, I'm not really worried about it. Shaw has definitely shown that he's the premier RB in the class. McGuffie did add depth and that's important - especially considering how much Brown, Minor and Shaw have been injured. I was actually impressed how McGuffie took hits (the fact that he got up...eventually). He took some monster hits and held onto the ball, which is more than some of our other players. I hoped he'd add some mass and actually learn how to deliver hits. All that said, it's the depth that I'm most concerned about... |

AC: Finally, let me tell Brian that I absolutely LOVE this type of post. I get more information from these Picture Pages posts than just about anything else. I'd love to see more of them - both for plays that worked, plays that didn't, offense, defense, special teams, etc. It is like a UFR on steroids for one play.

| 4 years 32 weeks ago | Audible? |
Does Threet have the option to audible at the line when he sees that cushion on Savoy? I remember someone mentioning (probably in these comments) that RR did not allow Threet to call his own audibles. Any insight? |
