| 1 year 22 weeks ago | Our band was not there |
Unfortunately. Their band did play Blues Brothers. The OSU student section looked shell shocked throughout the game. As I have said before, only about 10% of their fans seem to have any idea what they are watching out there. Calls for hand pass stoppages on UM when in the defensive zone, looks of bewilderment on icing calls, and overall apathy rule the day at TUOS hockey games. |
| 1 year 22 weeks ago | The piped in music was too much at this game |
There was three times more piped in music at this game than band. As much as I hate the ohio golden bearcats, they do have a good band. Would have much rather heard them than "Who Let the Dogs Out" three freaking times. Even my daughter, who likes that type of music started to complain about the music. Special K would have been proud. |
| 1 year 22 weeks ago | Nope |
We were a bunch of Wal-Mart Wolverines. What a game, though. As has been said many times, here and else where. The second half seems to be tremendously much better than the first half. This game could be the start of something big for this team. |

Never ceases to amaze me when I come here how little akron state fans know about hockey. Good contingent of us here tonight though. |

| 2 years 41 weeks ago | Time spent with my dad |
Football is important to me because from an early age my fondest memories are of my dad and I watching Michigan football. He took me to my first game in 1985. It was the Michigan vs. Ohio State game. Michigan won and it was the greatest moment of my life short of when I got married. I was 7 yrs. old at the time and still cherish the autographs that he took me to get following the game. We went to every Michigan vs. Ohio State game together for the next ten years (until I went away to college). At first we would get tickets from the scalpers. My dad always had a way of finding the alums with extra tickets that just wanted to sell them for face value to some other passionate UM fans. Later my dad finally got the season tickets that he waited for for so long and we went to plenty of other games in addition to the annual GAME. Two years ago I got to take my step-son (11 yrs old at the time) to his first UM game. He had been an Ohio State fan as we live about an hour from Columbus. My dad was there with us, too. When Michigan took the field the emotion of my first game came rushing back to me. I couldn't help having watery eyes at the thought of introducing my boy to the thing that means so much to me and having my dad there with us. This weekend is supposed to be my step son's weekend to spend with his "dad"(an OSU fan), but he informed his "dad" that he didn't want to go until Saturday evening so that he could watch the UM game with his mother and I tomorrow. Michigan football is memories, and family, and love, and the joy that we experience when we win and the frustration of losses. I couldn't sleep last night thinking about tomorrow and I am sure that sleep will be difficult for me tonight. GO BLUE |
| 3 years 1 week ago | filling a pool from a shallow well |
Your well may or may not be able to fill your pool in one shot. If it doesn't the water will return, but how fast it returns depends on what type of geology your well is drilled or driven into. Some shallow wells produce a heck of a lot of water. If you're still weary after reading this, call a well driller and have them do a sustainable yield test. |
| 3 years 27 weeks ago | Thank you |
I could not have put it any better. Things will improve in the second year under the same DC. Depth will not be so big of an issue and the athletic ability is there. I am very concerned, however, about unused scholarships. Is there some kind of hardship waiver that UM can apply for to get in more than 25? Nice post blueadams. |

| 3 years 42 weeks ago | Social Drinking? |
MGoBoard and beer is not social drinking. You may have a problem. Please, no more Sheridan, but we'll always have the jug. No SUGARCOAT. |
| 3 years 42 weeks ago | I second |
More points should be required to start a diary than a message board post. Diaries need more thought and work than a couple of sentences on the board. |
| 3 years 44 weeks ago | You, sir, are correct. |
Grew up with Dee, and have met his cousin a few times. Good kid. He is listed as playing at South, but dear old South is no more due to combining of high schools. He now plays for Springfield HS. Screw you Board of Education. |

Was that the game when it snowed almost three inches in the second half? I was quite young at the time but I think that I remember that. |
