Good day for the good guys, from 7 territories to 13. We had the second most players and the third best star power. The gap really could be spanned by Mgobloggers. We overtook osu I’m players in the previous round, let’s overtake them in star power on this turn!
I didn't get to really participate in the first risk, so I've been in on this one from the start. I would really like to see Mgoblog rally around Michigan to put us over the top.
Honestly, even though this is a virtual game, wouldn't it be nice to beat Ohio State? They have 31 more players than we do, this is something we can control. If we give it the MGO bump, we can be dominating this game in a matter of days.
I really wish he would come back as himself too. I thought he brought a lot of interesting content to the board. The viewing schedule is fun, I'm glad somebody picked it up in his (hopefully) temporary hiatus. Could he get his points reinstated?
I rarely post. I really don't have time and don't have the desire. I enjoy lurking on the threads and content that is created on the main page. However, I did multiple searches looking for Mr. Yost after reading on some thread that he had been sent to Bolivia. This isn't right. There isn't a person who isn't employed by mgoblog that provides more to this site. I don't understand how a user who provides so much insightful, thoughtful, informative content for years could be banished this way. Is this really what mgoblog has come to?

Just heard that on BTN. I didn't realize the injury the other day was this severe. Really didn't think twice about it. Not good, especially with today's match-up. Need a good day from Dawkins/Irvin. I expect Irvin to step up. (Pyschologically, I feel like Irvin takes more ownership without LeVert. However, this is admittedly conjecture.)
of the offense. The run blocking of the O-Line seemed much improved. De'veon Smith looked more healthy, and I loved seeing him hit some of the open holes! Drake looked more decisive. (Is it just me, or does it still seem like he doesn't have the same burst he had pre-injury? If he gets that back for next year, that would be exciting!)
Anybody have any insight as to why Ty Isaac didn't get any action today?
Any speculation as to De'veon moving to FB next year? I think the way Harbaugh used Houma today would be a great way to sell the move to Smith.
It's Michigan football, Jim Harbaugh is the coach, and I am on vacation! Why not? It actually looked like football, unlike the past two years! Sure, the result was unsatisfactory, but there was a lot to enjoy too. It's obvious that we are close.
Hoke looks so stinking inept...After he gets fired, I really hope he doesn't start doing color for games. I can't take Mason, I can't imagine listening to Hoke.
I really don't agree with this take. Brian has shown himself to be reasonable and successful all on his own merit. Of course it would be great to have a fans perspecive represented, but from a University perspective, wouldn't it be nice to have an "outsiders" point of view? Brian for Regent indeed!
Oh come on, by politicians standards Hoke is credible, competent, trustworthy, strategic, innovative and a great decision-maker. Hoke for Governor for sure!
I don't think this is possible. But I would actually like that. Even though his recruiting success can be attributed to Manning and others on his staff, Hoke would be a good recruiter and competent as a D-Line coach. I still think Hoke loves Michigan and I would welcome him as a D-Line coach!
But both Hoke and Brandon just want to deflect heat and responsibility. So he gets advice from the medical professionals and training staff. Since they don't have press conferences and there aren't blogs calling for them to be fired, the blame is passed.
I think the writing is on the wall that Hoke will make it through the end of the year. Hopefully, Brandon has been told NOT to fire Hoke because Brandon is going to get fired. However, I am afraid of Stephen Ross money retaining Brandon. If that's the case, I think the timeline of this week will also ensure that Hoke stays through the end of the year. If he's made it through this much of the storm, he will make it through until the end of the year. It's like a car wreck where you just have to look....As an aside, I do wonder what traffic on MGOBLOG has looked like this week!!
I do. I think Funchess is a first round pick. I think we have plenty of possible NFL caliber players (but we really are young, not an excuse just a fact.) I don't think the recruiting rankings are off base necessarily. I think there is a major player development issue.
Michigan football has sucked. MGOBLOG does anything but suck. Would most all fans "trade jobs" with Brian, I'm guess yes. He brings value and since we're all going to have to suffer through at least 8 more games of this-vacations all around!
He is the antithesis of our football program right now. He takes "lesser" players and makes them perform at the highest lever. In football, we take the "highest level" players and make them lesser. I'm up for Beilein coaching football. Or maybe his brother. Or his son. Or his wife. Or his dog...You know, whatever.

Feels great to get a UM win! With about 8 minutes left in the game, I turned to my wife and said: "At least Jim Harbaugh is our coach."
