of the offense. The run blocking of the O-Line seemed much improved. De'veon Smith looked more healthy, and I loved seeing him hit some of the open holes! Drake looked more decisive. (Is it just me, or does it still seem like he doesn't have the same burst he had pre-injury? If he gets that back for next year, that would be exciting!)

Anybody have any insight as to why Ty Isaac didn't get any action today?

Any speculation as to De'veon moving to FB next year? I think the way Harbaugh used Houma today would be a great way to sell the move to Smith.

Go Blue! What a great way to start out 2016!

Chesson mentioned in the trophy presentation that it may be the 1st time in Michigan history 3 roommates scored touchdowns in a game - Chesson, Drake Johnson, and Sione Houma.  Could you please check the binders to verify?

8 scores out of the final 9 drives, and that against an excellent defense.   outstanding game-planning, thought all of our backs ran extremely well, some O-line screw ups but then rudock would bail us out one way or the other.  what a great fun game to watch.  i'd like about 15 of those next year.   you too?

Looked good running and throwing.

Also there was only 1 meaningful (i.e. not the end of the game) drive that didn't result in points.

Great way to send Rudock off. Should at least get him some looks by NFL teams.

The OL was blowing open big holes all game long. That team looked extremely well prepared, something that has often not been the xase in many past years. Wonderful to see Rudock have such a great game. Go Blue!

I am now feeling content with our returning O-line and running backs in 2016...  They finally turned the corner and essentially handled an elite front seven.

Rudock had a clean jersey almost all game long.  Deveon Smith and Drake Johnson bumped up their game and demonstrated good vision for the most part.  Good things to come in our offense next year!  A phenomenal coaching job!

Is that our guys were just completely physically and mentally exhausted by the time of the OSU game, injuries notwithstanding.

They came out today after some well deserved rest and just completely dominated the SEC East champ.

Going forward we're going to need some better S&C or Harbaugh is going to have to dial it back a bit during the regular season. At least until we have a roster full of 5 *'s.

i think you are partially right. we were healthier than we have been since training camp, but Florida was pretty bad on offense. the only thing that surprised me was our blocking.

but no way does harbaugh dial it back. i think he will amp it up every day. that d against osu was poorly coached, but the missing personnel was huge. so i dont think we need 5 stars. just cant have tom strobel backing up at dt against a team like that.

Jake Rudock's numbers were very nice indeed - 20/31 for 278 yards. That's 13.9 yards per completion and 8.97 yards per attempt.

It was nice to see the ground game take off against a Florida run defense that some of us were concerned about, and given the numbers, rightly so. Still, 46 carries for 225 yards - 4.89 yards per carry - is not too shabby at all.

Very pleased with the offense in the Citrus Bowl.

Rudock looked more confident today than he did all season. When he would drop back and load up, I knew it was going to be complete. Too bad he won't be back next season to keep it rolling. Michigan man forever!

Kalis had some really bad plays. I know he was going against some great players on Florida's D-line, but I expected more from him at this stage in his career. Not trying to be a negative Nancy, because overall this was a GREAT win for Michigan. The future looks bright under Coach Harbaugh.

Great play calling all around. The run blocking held up as did the pass protection. Pretty much a perfect game plan executed near flawlessly

First time in years where the OL didn't just look good against a good opponent. It dominated. The play calling was near flawless, the RB vision was drastically improved, Chesson looked unstoppable, and Rudock looked like a guy who could get a phone call from an NFL team.

Couldn't ask for a whole lot more than what happened today.

Wow, we dominated. Gators got blown the fuck up and embarrassed which I loved since they had players taking a bunch of cheap shots. They deserved it.

The thing that most impressed me was the way the O Line handled a really good D Line in both the run game and pass protection. Solid all around. This is also what most excites me about next years team. Dominate in the trenches, win championships.

Could not have asked for a stronger finish to the season.  Michigan scored 41 points on an outstanding Florida defense today in their backyard.  Our running game and blocking schemes looked the best it did all year against a very talented Flordia defense.   While our D played well as well, our offense keep the ball long enough to keep the D rested, which was helpful given the significant injuries in the D has sustained this year.

The O-line played by far its best game today, particularly with its run blocking.  There were holes on almost every play.  Too bad Houma fell down when he made that cut towards a HUGE hole!  But, all in all, the line created holes that the backs ran through for the most part.
