I guess I didn't mean that it wasn't completely removed from his site, but that I don't think the news is about his site. He said it wasn't anything to do with a site merger, new job, etc.
So I'll put my guess out there on record. MGoFish is announcing at 7:30, right after Fuller's announcement. He did confirm that the timing of his announcement is in part due to Fuller announcing his commitment.
Thus, my wild guess is that he will be breaking some news on recruiting violations at OSU in regards to the recruitment of Fuller. Not sure where Fuller will end up in this scenario, but I'm guessing it relates to OSU's pursuit of him.
As for my reasons, it simply fits the bill. Not insider info on a recruits commitment. Not staff oriented. Not signing with the stars. Nothing to do with his site. Recruiting related, but not necessarily only about one individual recruit.
Another thing that is scary is the opposite strategy by Portugal.
Portugal will know they are way down in goal differential, and need to make up ground. They also understand after they're beating by Germany, that Germany has the potential to get a multiple goal win. Thus, Portugal still has a glimmer, albeit small, of hope.
What scares me is, knowing this, Portugal comes out with an aggresive, attacking game plan trying to put a few in the back of the net. The scary part about this is that Ghana is most dangerous in space, especially in a counter attack scenario, and thats exactly what the aformentioned Portugal strategy would allow.
Anything but Ghana getting the win is good for the US. While there isn't too much difference, in my opinion Germany getting the win is the best for the US, rather than a draw.
It's not about it being row 50 if we get there 15 minutes early. Its about the fact that we were forced to deal with being in row 70, 80, 90 for our first couple years, eagerly and patiently awaiting the games where we would be down in front. And now, in order to get what we have waited for, we need to miss 2 to 3 hours of pregame fun.
Why do you think you wont? 3-4 hours early for good seats to some basketball games with GA was not unusual at all. Why would it be different for football? In order to get the best seats, people will be there for a long time. Look at how it goes at PSU.
I had the same question. While I think the 2-3 zone of Syracuse is pretty scary, I think have the right kind of team to beat it. We have pretty good perimeter shooting, with a lot of guys that can shoot the long jumper. We have a couple good slashers that can cut through the zone, especially GRIII. Also, a week to prepare for the 2-3 zone would help a lot.
That being said... I still think we would probably have a better shot against Marquette.
I honestly think so. And play up to them. When we play a good team, usually we put out a great performance (see 1 point loss to IU). And when we play a bad team, its harder for us to get into it and blow them apart. Hopefully we can nullify that in the NCAA tourney because so much is on the line.
Timmy seems desperate for that exact shot. Not understanding it....he has a guy half way beat off the dribble and then pulls up into a ridiculous fade-away...
We are in the bonus, lets use that. Trey should keep pulling his defender onto his rump and we should keep getting in the lane. We have 9+ minutes to work the foul trouble.
The advertising campaign for the new Monster's inc movie is great. Mimicking the college commercials on a channel where you expect to see them during commercials. Very clever and funny.
Loving the energy by LeVert out there. GRIII has flashed some great play, would love to see him keep up some of that intensity on the boards. I think if we keep it up in the paint, the 3's will come. And obviously, lets check Payne a little closer guys.
Honestly, whether you like them or not, I think this is a good move for the players. Coming off a tough loss into a huge game, probably a little drained, give them some flashy uniforms and let them come out with some swag and confidence.
I know this is certainly nowhere near a given, or even probably, but here is what I am realizing. The Big Ten Championship, or at least a share of it, is still in reach. It isn't likely, but it is in reach.
In order to grab a share, we need to win out and have Indiana lose out. That sounds pretty crazy, but it isn't actually.
We have to beat MSU and Indiana, two tough teams obviously, but both at home, where we play much better.
Indiana would have to lose to OSU, certainly possible, and us.
So lets get things back on track and come out with some energy today and get a huge win today at home! Go Blue!
I'm thinking about buying a ticket, but when I do so I will need to book a hotel too. Someone informed me that when you buy a ticket it says refunds will be given if they oversell? When I buy a ticket how do I know I actually have one? Any insight?
To everyone who is calling me out on being lazy: First of all, by saying paper I was exaggerating a bit. It is more like a 1 page blog post for my political science class where we apply principles such as Dirty Hands, Equality, etc to social and real life events, such as sports. So, while I have done a decent amount of outside research and could write it without help from here, I figure some of you guys have more knowledge in the subject than me. I remember seeing a good article posted on here a while back that I thought might be useful. And hey, people are other sources of knowledge too right?
So, sorry to waste your time by asking a simple question. I am not trying to cheat, get you to do the work for me, or anything like that. Just looking for a helpful hand that might be able to make my point better, because Im sure some of you know more than me.

I could see the news involving a video.

I personally like to call him The Noodle. Or when I get super excited I will yell things like PASTA.

I would much rather play FGCU. They are pretty similar to us except we are better.
I'm loving the thoughts of McGary going crazy against UNC's small lineup... especially with how he runs.
Also, star players are playing terrible in this game.
Withey - 1/5
McLemore - 0/5
McAdoo - 2/9
Neither team will shoot this bad against us. Teams rarely shoot bad against us. Might be our defense, might be our caliber.
I kind of disagree. GRIII shot 7/8 from 2s and McGary was 10/11. Hardaway was not the only good shooter.

Just not Morgan's game. Playing pretty bad on both ends. Glad Mitch picked up the slack.
That replay....Game....Stauskas.
No doubt that was a charge right??
We should go 2 bigs. McGary for what he obviously is already doing (double-double in the first half) and Morgan for D around the rim.
Timmy seems desperate for that exact shot. Not understanding it....he has a guy half way beat off the dribble and then pulls up into a ridiculous fade-away...
Thats what I like to see MITCH! Dominating out there.
Awful call.... A travel fouls out Morgan. You've got to be kidding
There's no foul there... Arms straight up...
*Appling
Go blue
Drive on applying!!! He's about to foul out and that will hurt them with turnovers.

LOVING the energy by LeVert. We feel like an upbeat team when he's in.

WHAT IS HE DOING THERE? Box out and watch the hoop a little
Stauskas and GRIII need to get a little more intensity on the defensive end.
Hardaway with 15+

This is just such a good conference. Very excited to watch the Big Ten Tournament.
I completely agree. Purdue even looks tough now, especially away.

He seems like he can drive at any Duke player at will. I'm surprised they aren't isolating him more. It's working well when he gets the chance.
Any rooting interest in the Miami-Duke matchup now that Duke dropped a game this week?

JV just accomplished one of the most prestigious things a pitcher could do. Quite an exciting season to watch from the big guy.
