| 11 hours 34 min ago | It's not OT, though. |
|
| 23 hours 30 min ago | Yeah, that avatar isn't about to make you popular here. |
Not to say anything about your name, signature or content of your sole post. |
| 23 hours 56 min ago | And? |
He's on the roster, no? |
| 1 day 52 min ago | As an official... |
that's honestly the worst (I'm not commenting here, though) way to officiate, although there are people with that mentality. For this game, though, even without a horse in the race that was exciting. Good for Juwan Howard and any of the MGoHeat fans out there. |
| 1 day 1 hour ago | Damn... |
Makes me regret leaving the bar, the LeBron fan I know is probably buying rounds of shots for everyone by now. That is pretty amazing though, even as someone who doesn't watch much NBA. I'll have to get this game on ASAP. |
| 1 day 1 hour ago | Stuff has been hectic... |
but last time I saw the game LeBron had 12 points. Can you share his stat line from the end of the third/fourth quarter? |
| 1 day 1 hour ago | No PM system. |
Just a few people that can see the email addresses used for registration (Brian included, obviously). No idea what SixZero did in the past, but between him and M-Wolverine they can find the help they need without much difficulty. |
| 1 day 1 hour ago | Well, you're on equal footing with anyone who starts a thread. |
M-Wolverine, someone with 100 points, you, someone who got bumped to 1,000,000 for a day, we all get pretty much equal mercy for a terrible post, or props for a good one. |
| 1 day 1 hour ago | For starters... |
this is not to be interpreted as any type of evaluation on Glendening. I'll leave that to the guys who specialize in scouting/evaluation, and that's not the part of hockey I like to post on. Now that this is out of the way, Charlestown Chiefs, you are hereby awarded enough points to start a thread based on a good posting history and two good reccomendations for OP's. Have fun, don't spend them all in one place (they expire in one year). |
| 1 day 3 hours ago | Either way... |
it's you here. Stop. |
| 1 day 4 hours ago | All right... |
I know you two have a history of going back and forth, but the personal stuff is over the line and isn't something that should get posted. If you're interested in getting a new account and keeping your points, that's something that can be done. You can also just change your name yourself if you don't care about doing any more ~Herm posts. |
| 1 day 11 hours ago | There might be some confusion on these... |
so called "drinking fountains". Especially in Wisconsin, for some reason.
|
| 1 day 14 hours ago | He's had one done before. | |
| 1 day 14 hours ago | Can't decide if you're really good at setting odds... |
or really bad. Ace and Heiko are already done, and I'm pretty sure RDT was Greg Mattison. |
| 1 day 14 hours ago | Oh I totally agree. |
But it's not like womens looks are the only superficial thing to get comments either. |
| 2 days 1 hour ago | To be fair... |
we also have like a thousand comments on any uniform changes for any random team and it's not like people kept their opinions on Anthony Davis' unique facial hair to themselves (probably among other examples). |
| 2 days 10 hours ago | As to your second point... |
it's partially true either way you want to word it. The text of what was voted on in both houses and signed by the president is this:
and then lists a whole bunch of exceptions and specifically includes some other entities. All of the aspects of the law we know today were formed by federal bureaucrats, to use the wording above. The three pronged test, the inclusion of revenue sports, ect., was formed and can be changed without specific congressional approval. In fact, I believe the Secretary of Education could change the current standards without even presidential approval. |
| 2 days 11 hours ago | Well... |
Eisenhower did beat Rutgers starting two ways. Rutgers is big time football, right? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1912_Army_Cadets_football_team |
| 2 days 11 hours ago | Obviously coaches aren't nearly as important as players... |
but if Nike was really interested in making Oregon the premier program in college football, why don't they have the most highly paid coaching staff right now? All of the coaches get endorsement deals, so why doesn't Nike bankroll a fifteen million dollar coaching staff at Oregon? I think the big distinction is that Nike isn't interested in Oregon being anything special; Phil Knight is the one with that interest. A quick search doesn't show that Nike has given anything significant to Oregon beyond a standard apparel deal and a few apparel exclusives that seem normal given their proximity. Knight isn't going to be able to go to a shareholder meeting and justify pouring excessive amounts of money into endorsement deals for a twenty-five member class. Also, I doubt Clowney or Manziel would get any less interest from Nike because they play for South Carolina or TAMU. |
| 2 days 15 hours ago | M is definitely tops of any |
M is definitely tops of any program east of Oklahoma, and might be tops at any program east of Arizona (which would be inclusive of Oklahoma) if you can really stretch an argument. I must really be confused here, but how else is the original sentence getting read? Edit: Okay, yeah. I was using Arizona as another possible geographic point, not name a possibly better program east of Oklahoma. |
| 3 days 29 min ago | Haven't been to Alumni Field... |
but Michigan is second to none east of Oklahoma (possibly Arizona if you're very good at arguing). If you want to watch a nationally elite team, softball is right there, and it's an added attraction because Hutch probably has limited seasons in the dugout and might be the best coach in Ann Arbor right now. I recognize exactly how much that statement means, by the way, and I stand by it. |
| 3 days 57 min ago | This is our guide... |
and should be the guide for anyone looking to post paywalled content. |

and I quote "HAHAHAHAHA you just made my night". So there's that, which is nice. |
| 4 days 1 hour ago | Seth is the Associate Editor... |
the guy who does Dear Diary and Hokepoints on the front page (among other things, I've been drinking for a couple hours and can't think of them off the top of my head), and he copyedits all of the front page content. I had asked him about your potential diary since that's his job description and he did some copyediting and had a few notes. |
| 4 days 1 hour ago | I'm pretty sure... |
when I was playing nobody even kept track of hits, so I'm probably not your guy here. If I had a CenterIce bat signal I would put it up, but sadly I don't. Also I wanted to tell you how sorry I was about the emails we exchanged a while back. I definitely thought I had replied to you with everything, but it doesn't look like it. I did do the stuff you had wanted, and Seth chimed in as well, but I guess the reply got lost in the shuffle. You'll have a reply by tomorrow night. Again, sorry for the non-response. |
| 4 days 1 hour ago | Seguin... |
beautiful pass, and Paille took advantage. That play was just amazing, nothing else to say. |
| 4 days 1 hour ago | Thank you for that. |
Seriously, about to start it. The girlfriend just told me she's heard that it's totally different than his previous stuff and is a bit on the odd side, so I'm pretty excited to listen to this right now. Completely agree with your comment in the last music thread, Kanye is a douche but he's definitely a great musician (same tone as the general talking about Mel Gibson in Imaginationland). |
| 4 days 2 hours ago | I'm sure Simba the pineapple has done this before... |
but I'm sure you'll appreciate the cups I made at the end of May.
|
| 4 days 14 hours ago | Yeah... |
I'm guessing Detroit wouldn't mind quadrupling their population (going from 18 to 3 in the US), doubling their tourism numbers, gaining anything like the downtown area including the tallest building in the country (is there a better downtown in America?) which has two top ten universities bookending it and quadrupling their Fortune 500 HQ's. Also all of this hypothetically would be happening while drastically reducing crime and adding an unbelievable amount of wealth. It's obvious that any US city with maybe 2-3 exceptions would kill to be Chicago. |
