Fuck MSU. We played like crap, the offensive game plan sucked, we made a bad team look good. I will never respect their classless, ignorant fan base or program.
The NCAA should be embarrassed about the targeting rule. I mean, even when they replay it and seem that it wasn't targeting and the player won't get ejected, they still keep the penalty yard punishment. Why?
Was there something wrong with Gardner today? He looked like 'bad' denard out there. He had to have had an injury or illness. I can't see him ever getting mentally shook so bad that he plays like this. They even took the game out of his hands at the end by running a lot more. That being said, where the hell was our line play? We 'should' be bigger, faster, more talented than them. We should have gotten pressure on every play with a four man rush. We should have been able to run the ball with authority every single play if we chose to. Line play and Gardner were simply pathetic today.
That would be nice. But, as we saw against ND it's not as important as you may think. ND (supposedly) has an awesome defense and they tore it apart without the 'deep' threat. Obviously it would be amazing to have another great weapon, but it's hard to imagine a better offensive game that they just accomplished against ND.
Wow, they look so bad this year. I know a couple state fans and they really don't even care this year. They expect a bad season and don't see it getting much better next year.
I agree but, last year was one of those odd situations where a team is nowhere as good as their record. ND was good last year but nowhere near deserving to be in the national championship game. I mean, they should have lost to Pitt. We will never see a worse team get to the National championship game.
I hope my Nigerian prince friend isn't involved in this fraud. He emailed me the other day about helping him get some money out of a Swiss bank account. I hope this business transaction goes swimmingly.
Is this real? Or, am I being really gullible? This has to be a photoshop, there is no freaking way a program has to put those 'rules' up... Not even rules, laws that nobody is supposed to break.
Seriously, someone tell me without joking if this is truly legit.
Why do you people like the early start? I am in Chicago, the later the better. I like to get to the gym and get stuff done before drinking beer and going nuts for the game.
The huge setback seems to already be happening. Their recruiting is awful lately and even their fan base seems shook. The only reason they had some mild success lately was because we had a few down years and the OSU and psu controversies. It's over for them.
I grew up in Michigan, most of my friends were Michigan fans growing up, everyone and their families were huge Michigan football fans. But, then these same friends, who had been Michigan fans their entire life apply to colleges. They apply to Michigan and a couple safety schools like MSU. Well, my friends got denied from Michigan and had to go to MSU. The second they get that denied letter they hated Michigan and totally embraced the little brother lifestyle.
So, mostly, I think MSU fans are Michigan rejects. Envious, dumb, uninspiring rejects...
The mistake was giving spike so many minutes in the second half. The guy was overmatched and a liability. He made a couple mistakes early and coach should have realized his day was over. I think if we played that same game over again with the ability to make one different coaching decision, it would be to do just that, take the little guy out when he was an obvious mess in the second half.
The NBA isn't even real basketball anymore. 3 or 4 steps, running like a RB to the hoop. Stars get all the calls and are never called for fouling because the league wants them in the game as much as possible. It's like the WWE now, fake even though its still unscripted.
But, from the 6 games or so that I have seen this year, we don't look good. We make a lot of sloppy mistakes like throwing the ball out of bounds. Where the hell is our rebounding? Why don't we try to score in the paint ever? You would think we would try to get those high percentage shots!
I may be wrong as I am not a big fan of the sport, but to me, we just don't look good.
ND was probably the worst team to ever make it to the national championship game. Their season was full of luck and teams beating themselves. They almost lost to a couple awful teams too. I am not saying they weren't good, but they were in no way good enough to be in that game. But, sometimes that's just how it works out, unfortunately.
Where we physically kicked tebows ass and Meyer was sent home crying. This was the year after Meyer was trashing Michigan and calling coaches to keep us out of the national championship game. I will always hate Meyer for being a douche, it's perfect that he is now the head coach at osu.
If Hoke has interviewed for a job or if teams have offered or even talked about offering, ESPN would be all over it. There is no way this loser would be breaking the story first...
I bet more than a few thousand will be there. There are a ton of Michigan alumni in Chicago and most people will look for any excuse to go to wrigley and party.
You can't ruin a whole team because one little bitch is threatening to hurt himself. This guy acts like trash, treats the team like trash, therefore he should be treated as such.

I am a huge fan of all Michigan sports but I get cranky after losses...
Well, at least meaningful college basketball is over. I know march madness is coming, but that's just a fun exhibition.
