You're right, they are different situations; I managed to overlook that.
Still frustrating though... are we really going to watch the bowl game in two years and not know whether it's Devin's last game or not? That's nuts. I don't understand the logic in putting a timeframe on a medical redshirt ruling.
I've heard that as well, which seems absolutely ridiculous to me, considering the effect his eligibility has on coaching/recruiting decisions. Not to mention, the decision is based on his medical condition from that one season, which does not change over time.
That article is complete garbage, it's almost funny. It's written for the Wings-Oilers game tonight, and the intro the original post provided is completely unrelated to the rest of the story/preview- the article could just as easily start with the next sentence: "The Wings are good." A true sign of shoddy journalism when you can't tie in your opening sentence to the rest of the piece. What a jabroni.
He did in fact finish that 5/3 lb burger. I know this only because I've done the challenge, conquered it, and got picture face-time on the show; needless to say, I've seen the episode 2 or 3 times. Man vs. Food's challenge was even more impressive, since they only gave him from the 7th inning until the end of the game to down the burger, while everyone else had no time limit. I hope the reason you don't "feel the same about the show" is because it encouraged an 8-year old girl to eat that disgusting burger.
Speaking of clean block M's, and maybe this will happen in due time, but I always thought the outer face of the scoreboard should be changed from its current design (M with Michigan written across) to a plain maize M on a blue background. Even more tits-in-face, the M should light up at night.
They should have open seating/standing room on the top of the press boxes. I've been thinking that since seeing construction workers watch games from up there.
Big Bay, eh? I watched a Michigan game at the Lumberjack a few years back... could not believe how busy that bar was at noon (and not even for the game)
"The BCS is a system that governs and will take care of all that," Carr said. "I think it will be very interesting to see what transpires in the polls as we go forward. But I don't care to speculate. I know it will probably be very controversial either way. So that's what we like."
Urban:
"If that does happen," Meyer said about a possible rematch between Ohio State and Michigan in the national title game, "all the (university) presidents need to get together immediately and put together a playoff system.
"I mean like now," he added, "January or whenever to get that done."

That scoreboard was not regulation height

Don't worry, guys.. he's being represented by Doug Lewis. That man got my second MIP dropped. And he wears a cowboy hat and boots everywhere he goes.
Not with Denard's injury history and with what's on the line this season.
However, if we had a ruling on his first year medical RS, that could influence the coaches decision. Another reason to hate this situation.

More than a recruiting tool, #1 should only be given to seniors as incentive to stay another year (for when we have to worry about those things).
Sorry Haxel Rose, didn't see you up there

Has your friend checked this broad's medicine cabinet yet?
It's the most beautiful sight these eyes have ever seen.

I have to hate Lebron for being from ohio.

I like the looks of that, a lot. I still expect to see Dats and Z split up at some point, however, if the 2nd line isn't getting it done:
Holmstrom-Zetterberg-Filppula
Franzen-Datsyuk-Hudler
Bertuzzi-Modano-Cleary
Helm-Draper-Miller
I always get a good laugh at people who question Ken Holland, especially internet posters.
My sentiments exactly.

that's the nerdiest thing I've ever heard. You may have single-handedly killed this thread.
