The Maize may look darker in some pictures, and I thought that myself. However after going to the store and buying some stuff I think what's happening is the maize that is printed looks a little bit darker until more light is on it. At that point it looks much lighter. If you look at the hats the maze stitching is a bit lighter and that doesn't really change when you shine light on it. The difference and fabrics and colors has been pretty standard over the years and we did not see it in the pictures from earlier days that were not as clear. If anything Nike seemed to brighten the color a bit in the late 90s and 2000's. For Adidas consistency was a huge issue. Nike and Jordan seem to solve that problem. However, I bet this kind of and other consistency issues will continue to arise because it is the nature of the business. If you remember Florida State's fiasco with Nike, they had the Garnet wrong, the gold wrong etc. If you remember the NFL Nike couldn't get the kelly green on Philadelphia right. To say that they are just fixing this for sure forever because they are Nike would be a blanket wrong statement. Bottom line is it looks like they got this perfect and the designs, the team, the brand, harbaugh and everything else has made it a 10 out of 10. go blue go blue.

Brady didn't know Shane has a concussion. He has made that clear and we can all believe him. At that point he tried to buy Devin back with a timeout but the ref said that he couldn't do so under the rules (which is incorrect). So Brady then got the head ref to acknowledge that he could buy back (call a timeout and have Devin reinserted, not get a free timeout). At that point Howe we he saw Shane back on the field. Not knowing he had a concussion he allowed him to play one more play.
This is not the biggest deal. The big deal is they failed to recognize the concussion immediately and then subsequently went about covering that fact up and/or having the worst miscommunications in the history of athletic departments.
I am happy to place blame where it's due but this is just beating a dead horse!!!!
A) These are cool. They do not deviate much from our design and the shorts look better with the M at the bottom. (I do enjoy the tiny fading Ms as well on the regular jersey)
B) I like the idea of a tournament jersey in basketball. It is not like our current jersey is such a classic.
C) To the suggestion we wear a throwback jersey for the tournament - There is a reason it is a throwback. It looks old and 80's. I don't think it would be cool to all wear super baggy deep scoop cut beach looking tank tops for the tournament. A throwback game is great, but lets keep that to a game.
D) At least it does not have camo and is not a T Shirt.
I was in canada for super bowl and they were charging $2 for PBR tall boys at the liquor store which is the same price charged at the restaurant next to my apt in chi

I made a choice that I wanted to be a regular college kid. I wanted to drink and party and not have the responsibilities and expectations of a student athlete.
I made that choice. I lived the life I chose and enjoyed it. I still go out.
I know how much we all care about Michigan Football. To be a part of the actual program requires you to know you are playing for your teammates and your coaches.
A) Being a premier player at a premier program and being the leader is a big responsibility. You lead by example. Do you think a good example is drinking at a bar past midnight 36 hours before the game against state? Could you not just wait for the offseason, or drink beers at home? Easy mature decisions. Ask around, no one ever saw chad henne at bars 2 days before games.
B) Being a premier player at a premier program and being the leader is a big responsibility. You lead by example. Do you think a good example is going out and being around a bar with fans of both teams til 5AM? Could you not just wait for the next day, or drink a few beers at home? Are you not upset about the game that just happenned? I couldn't go out that night. How could he?
Explain how you think being a TEAM CAPTAIN and then going to the BARS in a COLLEGE TOWN before your biggest weeks of the season is BENIGN?
THESE KIDS ARE MAKING A CHOICE TO PLAY FOOTBALL FOR MICHIGAN. NOBODY IS MAKING THEM PLAY. THEY SHOULD UNDERSTAND THAT AND ALSO UNDERSTAND THEY NEED TO ACT DIFFERENT THAN THEIR PEERS.
what is libel? that he got in trouble after the OHIO STATE game? That aint libel. Read the news. Wrong place wrong time you say? I say you put yourself in that place at that time.
Taylor will go to the NFL and be a great player. I just dont think hes the right leader for his peers at michigan.
Lewan came back, talked about dedication and leadership. He then went on to "guarantee" the state game. That week he could be seen at Scorekeepers on Thursday Night BEFORE the game. Then we lost to OHIO STATE and the guy goes out after the game and gets in trouble.
Not a leader. Doesn't understand sacrifice. Excited to move on. The younger guys are more dedicated and better leaders. Once we get this house cleaned, and all the players are on the same page, shit will be ok.
