Those mixed marriages always end up with some of the hottest fucking in the world, but when one party fucks up the splain' goes on for hours, but so, too, does the fucking, so it ain't all bad.

Agreed...but everytime you put something in gym short pockets, it just falls out.

I can't count how many times I've put my cell phone or wallet in my gym shorts pockets and drove home...then when I'm ready to leave the house I can't find my cell phone or my wallet - come to find it, it's laying in the seat of my car.

Wasted 6 fucking minutes searching and it's always in the seat of the car. FUCK!

Totaly, yet respectfully disagree.  I've been holding onto my gym shorts without pockets for years because they are hard to find.  if you have big quads and glutes for your size the last thing you want is extra bulk around your hips.  I'm the type that wants no distractions in the gym or while being active so the last thing I want is a phone or wallet in my pocket.  If I'm going a place that those are a neccissity I find gym shorts are typically not the appropriate attire anyways.  The ipod nano is tiny and fits on my waist band or shirt and there's no added bulk anywhere...except my bulging muscles ;)

I think most guys, myself included, would prefer to have more developed arms, shoulders, and pecs.  And, while I'm not a sloutch there, that style is not my build.  I can train those muscles quite hard and they just don't grow as much.  My back, glutes, and quads however are very well developed for my size and I easily build muscle there.  That's just how I'm built.  I'd trade any day.  But, FWIW I've also been lifting seriously for 20 years so it's not like it's any great feat.

It's not about how my butt looks, it's about how the shorts function with my build.  If they are too narrow around the hips, and in my experience most shorts with pockets are for me, they will most likely tear along the crotch seam anytime I squat or bend my knees without adjusting the length of the shorts beforehand, particularly if it's hot and/or humid out.
