9 weeks 1 day ago Ummm

What's a "heat attack"?

29 weeks 2 days ago Al Borges Needs a Fair Shot

I agree that the play calling in the second half was stiff and predictable but the fact that he isn't working with his own talent remains. They are recruiting well and are going to have pieces in place for the type of offence they will look to run moving forward. We can't put Borges on the cross for this season. As it has been stated before, last season was a product of huge plays by robinson and hemmingway as well as an overall underdog attitude that had the nation not thinking that Hoke and company could do what they did in the first year with the players they had.

Let's give the staff a break and be thankful for the turn around that was engineered.

34 weeks 1 day ago Take it easy guys...

Everyone knows that this play calling isn't what we are use to but let me remind you that we only have lost to undefeated teams in the top ten. Alabama could beat the Jacksonville Jags and ND... Well, we had an off day. Stats and Highlights are great but wins and maintaining a humble, classy attitude are what make a program mean something. Also, Al Borges still isn't working with personnel that he brought in. I'm sure everything will work out. Give it some time. Just because we won the sugar bowl at the end of one of the best seasons this program has had in years doesn't mean that we should expect an undefeated season to follow. The goal is the big ten title and we are working to get that.

34 weeks 2 days ago He is doing his job!

Hoke gets it.

39 weeks 2 days ago Hoke Year Two

Everyone you just mentioned cannot be fairly judged as far as talent goes because of the coaching changes they underwent during their time at Michigan.

Last year, much as they did when they came in with RR, they had to learn the new schemes and assignments for their positions, then implement installations within the offense or defense and try and gel with the players around them. A coaching switch can make that difficult.

Coach Hoke and his assistants obviously have a better system in place, but it's not fair to say this team doesn't have the talent to win the Big 10. If this team can continue to buy into the system and focus on both common and individual goals set before them by the coaching staff then we can definitely win the Big 10 Title.

...but that is done one day at a time.

39 weeks 6 days ago Convicted Felon

Demar Dorsey had his full ride tacked bc of felony charges that were dismissed. I personally think he would have changed out defense as a whole right now but thw university did what it thought was best. This is no different. Frank Clark should be removed from the team as a whole and made an example of.

Coach Hoke know what he wants from his players on the field and as men. It makes me sick to see stuff like this happen but what matter most is how you handle it.

41 weeks 2 days ago I will say, I have a few

I will say, I have a few friends who are Bama fans and they were all really cool about the game. They all mentioned we are in a rebuilding period and brought up how great Hoke has done in the short time he has been there. I feel like Bama fan in general understand that if they were to take the low road it would only discredit the program as a whole. Unfortunately, Ohio fans don't get that, but I blame that on a lot of pregnancy boozing...

Go Blue!

41 weeks 2 days ago Before people flip out... I

Before people flip out... I am not saying hopkins should move to HB, I am merely suggesting that we inject a power run scheme into what we are doing. Mix it up.

41 weeks 2 days ago I agree.

I never want to be Bama. I want us to return to "The Old Michigan" and I feel like we are making strides to do so. I personally feel like it would be nice to see us line up in the "I" formation and try to pound the ball a little. I would like to see more of a power running game. I realize that the "big play" potential goes down if we do that, but I think that it would possibly lengthen the time of the drives and potentially wear the opposing defense down. Run Hopkins behind Kerridge and force teams to respect the fact that we are going to put drives together and score without Denard throwing a deep slant or taking it to the house when a play breaksdown. Just a thought.

41 weeks 2 days ago Schofield isn't horrible. He

Schofield isn't horrible. He was facing possibly the best 3-4 in college football and they were just worn down. I think it's easy to say that the Michigan LOS was in for a long night. As a player has the size and technique to play well in the big 10 and compete for all conference honors.

41 weeks 2 days ago Also, Taylor at CB.

I think he is a playmaker with speed. I know Avery will get the reps with Blake out but I would like to see if Taylor can step up and compete for that position. I saw him try and strip the ball on a tackle last night that makes me think with more chances he could help the D make some turnovers.

At this point we need young guys stepping up and taking on bigger roles the same way blake did last year.

41 weeks 2 days ago Like A Boss

I would like to see more of James Ross. He had the penalty on Special Teams but I like his instincts. He reminds me of Obi or Jon Beason.

41 weeks 2 days ago Mighty Mouse

While Gallon is greatly undersized for the position he remains one the best playmakers on the team. He has good hands, speed and he is very elusive. I think the bomb he caught from Denard that eventually put us on the board is a play he is capable of making once a game. I feel like his number needs to be called again and again if Roundtree continues to struggle with his involvment.

In other news, DG looked good. Raw, but good. I personally would love to see him become more physical than he played lastnight. The catch millner was able to break up that stalled a drive in the second quarter was his to make. I look forward to him using his frame and strength.

41 weeks 2 days ago All American?

C'mon. All Big 10.

41 weeks 2 days ago Sitting Lewan...

41 weeks 2 days ago Clark?!

Frank Clark will be cut by next season because he stole a 800 dollar laptop instead of going to the weight room...

41 weeks 3 days ago Leadership Year

This is Denard's year to progress as a feild general. He has bought into the system and applied himself to the Al Borges Offensive Scheme. We all remember what the second year in Rich Rod's Spread was like. That is a indication of Denard's abilities unfolding once he is comfortable in an offense. GRILL UP YOUR BURGERS AND OPEN YOUR BEERS BECAUSE WE GOT A DAMN GAME TO WATCH!

#wegottaeat

41 weeks 3 days ago The Heat

I use firstrow  a lot and find it to be the best. They often have multiple links and for a game on this kinda stage they will have plenty of links.

41 weeks 3 days ago I kinda like that everyone is picking Bama...

The reality is that they are a heavy favorite... but that doesn't mean we don't lace them up (some leave them untied) and play the damn game though!

#GOBLUE

41 weeks 3 days ago agreed.

While at UM he was an undeniable clutch WR and a leader for the younger guys to lean on, but this is different than RVB being cut. I wish "Big Play Hemingway" the best and I would love to see him set a sunday on fire for some team in the league, but I don't know if it's likely.

41 weeks 3 days ago The Ohio OL looks good...

Against a subpar DL... I want to see them in Big 10 Play. I hope Urban implodes this season. I do like that Coach Mattison has a good idea of what we can expect from he and his staff on offense.

41 weeks 3 days ago Brooklyn Blue!!!

I am repping hard out here in Brooklyn with a bunch of fellow Blue Bleeders! Go Blue!!! 'Nard is going to be the x-factor on Offense and the Defense has got to be physical and set the tone! It's 5 hours awayyyyy!!!!!

Ps. Ohio State mutting Miami of Ohio means nothing. Let's see if Urban has the balls to play the defending national champs next year... Doubtful.

#bradyhokehasabigpair

41 weeks 3 days ago So true...

OSU hires Urban and all of the sudden the American Sports Media Machine acts like they are clean as a whistle... Garbage.

41 weeks 3 days ago Clark should be hobbled...

Stealing a laptop??? Hoke is going to cut him if he gets convicted... It's fine. We ordered a Taco for next season!

41 weeks 3 days ago Never been to a home game...

I am a die hard fan of 25 years and have never been to the big house... Lame.

41 weeks 3 days ago Crystal Ball

You can tell Tom is going to be a great, team first, all heart QB when you watch that game. He plays with a LB chip on his shoulder!

41 weeks 3 days ago HIT SOMEBODY!

We need to play more physical than them! Look back at the 08 Capital One Bowl against the Gators. We were thumping them from the start of the game and it put a very dynamic and fast team on their heels. We have to do the same thing tomorrow. Hit! Out for blood Crable/Woodley/Shazor type hits!!! We do that and the Bama "booger boys" will not know what to do.
