If your goal is to get to the MNC game then you have to make sure you dont lose an extra game that knocks you out of contention. Look at all the other top 20 teams and their non conference schedule.
I think the answer is drop Notre Lame and start doing a Georgia or USC home and home.

My buddy and I strom the field (those were the days)
There is people, players, coaches everywhere
We end up somehow right by the tunnel and the next thing I know Bo walks by with a police escorst right next to me
I look at him and he face is a ghostly grey color
I turned to my buddy after Bo disappeared into the crowd going up the tunnel and said
"Man he does NOT look good" "he looks like death"
It was Bo's last game coached in the Michigan Stadium
I think it was two weeks later UM annpounced Bo was going to retire Doctors orders and the bowl game would be his last game
Why when playing the video is there that rawk music playing in the background so you can barely hear the announcer????

We brought a mini keg in to the stadium my freshman year
No woman EVER got tossed over the top
The practice of passing woman up was put to a stop my senior year by some woman rights group it was "degrading to woman"
As most of you probably dont know passing up was your change to grab what you wanted as they went over your head. Yes we were pigs
There were litterally trains in every section of the student section of woman getting passed up
And yes most of the woman volunteered to get passed up
