This is my thoughts as well. Undergrad programs at UofM just aren't held in the same high esteem as they once were. It could have a lot to do with the economy in SE Michigan going into the abyss, and therefore impacting placement opportunities. A UM undergrad degree in Chicago(when not directly recruited) isnt viewed any differently than other B10 schools.
Call me crazy, but I've never thought of USC as being even in the same ballpark as UCLA academically. Sure they had a good football team for a while there, and produced the likes of Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis, but I don't view a USC alum as possessing anything other than a standard bachelors degree.

Other than certain graduate programs, it does seem like academics at UofM dropped a bit over the final years of Mary Sue's tenure. It doesn't surprise me that Other schools have surpassed us.
Is Tolbert the one who people are saying he's the least qualified out of the assistants? It's too bad we struck out on the first choice, but I'm hoping he will be good.

Bolivia is still incredibly poor, but I imagine it's still a pretty awesome place. I was recently in South America, and that is definitely a continent on the rise.
Frankly, anyone here who believes the morons from the recruiting sites are a better evaluator of talent than Harbaugh needs to have their head checked.
