I haven't seen any post about the short article on DetNews about Jay Harbaugh as our TE coach. Seems thread-worthy but I'm not a thread-starter. I'm pretty sure it hasn't been posted yet in a coaching related thread. Neg me if you want. Maybe I missed it.
Never got a ring for HS, UM, or Grad School at USC. I personally would never wear it. As a momento I can understand it. If the plan is to go to college though, I'm not sure I understand the HS ring. I'd think the ring would be to commemorate your biggest achievement, which to me would be the highest degree you have received. If I had to choose, a Michigan ring would be much more valuable to me because I identify with the University much more than I do with my HS. I hardly follow my HS at all at this point.
Forgot to mention, we have a Wolverine currently crushing the competition in the Crossfit games for the ladies. Julie Foucher. She is in the medical school and works out at Crossfit Ann Arbor.
Check her out when the games are on ESPN 2 or at the games website. They live stream on ESPN 3.
I've recently gotten into crossift though where form is stressed far more than weight. I exclusively do squats to below 90 degrees now and my max there is only 305. Getting better though.
I wish I'd understood form over weight at an earlier age. I would have avoided 2 partially torn rotators and a fully torn bicep. Oh well, better late than never.
I also do plenty of 12oz curls like the rest of the board, hence the 215 lb weight and not a 205 lb weight.
Kansas State would be an at large bid. You'd think it would be about the money and Michigan's fan base is far larger than Kansas State. New Orleans also isn't particularly close to Kansas State so they wouldn't get additional fans based on proximity. I'd still think we'd go if we cracked the rankings requirement.
I just reviewed the dates for the various bowl games and I don't see a single bowl listed for New Years Day, January 1st. Is this a change for this year or a mistake on ESPN? I can't imagine they changed it as the ratings on New Years day have got to be way higher than they would be later that week with people back at work and school.
Good to hear. LaVell roomed directly across the hall from me freshman year in West Quad (Along with Jamall Crawford). He was always a really nice guy. Glad he's doing well.
I'm currently employed but am looking to take the next step. As such I have my resume floating through various contacts, recruiters, etc around the country.
I'm not sure how it ended up in the hands of an Ohio company (to remain nameless) but my response to their recruiter was "I don't entertain job offers from that state".
Also, when my girlfriend and I wore Michigan cloths to the USC vs Ohio State game, the same day Michigan was playing Notre Dame. We got harassed left and right. My girlfriend is from California but is a converted fan. She got harassed by a USC fan who said you probably can't even name any players that aren't in skill positions. She replied by naming the entire offesive line... Tears to my eyes.

I can verify that he went to the university. He lived directly across the hall from me in West Quad. I saw him at least two times.
Has been updated, so this must be a done deal and fact.

Little brother had a nice game... See you in Lansing.

Sorry, my PC froze and must have reposted when I refreshed.
That would be sick to play Oaklahoma State. I'm torn and confused as to who to root for.

The most violent 11 yards in pre-season football.
Probably had the caps lock on and didn't realize it.

Are we playing Football or Futbol?
Zubaz Style pants. They'll make Denard look even faster
I actually went to USC for grad school so it was more of an indirect way to route against Ohio State and for USC. The lesser of two evils.
