For anyone interested in happy hour and dinner between the pep rally and the Sklar’s comedy show on Sunday, I’ll be at True Anomaly Brewing - it’s just a few doors down from The Secret Group
Has anyone talked about how having a current left-handed quarterback on the roster could help the recruitment of other stud lefty QB recruits? Especially if Shane earns the starting role, the OL, the playcalling, etc. would already be flipped and ready for a recruit to step in...
As I was reading the piece, I kept thinking the same thing - how fortunate he is to have parents like that. Reading between the lines on a lot of Sam's other recruits, I don't think many are as lucky to have parents like Malik's.
I remember being 17, and I definitely wouldn't blame him for choosing MSU because he likes the atmosphere. Every kid looking at colleges should feel the same love and excitement for his or her future university campus, town, and events.
In the end, if he does pick MSU, I wish him all the best and hope he keeps his head on straight while he's up there (probably with the help of his parents and family).
Just as I'd rather spend 20 minutes trying to sync the Michigan football radio broadcast with ABC/ESPN/BTN, it would be great to not listen to Dick Vitale drool over Izzo.
Looking back to the opening game depth chart, Drake was listed above, and played before Justice. Drake's injury happened so early in the year, that I don't have a concern that he'll be ready to go this fall. Bowl game aside, I didn't see a lot from Justice that would make me think that Drake couldn't stay above him in the 2014 depth chart.
for the basketball MGoPodcast in December, so I made the Across 110th Street instrumental (aka the Michigan Replay opening) my ringtone. It wasn't hard to find it on YouTube since Brian did the legwork to find the actual title... thanks!
upon reading this one on the EEs. Thanks Brandon! Always great to hear that the new guys are looking forward to hitting the ground running, and they even provided some insight for when we try to guess everyone's jersey number in a few months!
Love hearing that Harris and Moe Ways are both hoping for the #1, but my bet is still on a healthy Darboh snagging that honor in the next season or two.
That link didn't work for me, so you might try this: http://www.detroitnews.com/article/20131220/SPORTS0201/312200031/1437/O…
Nice, article that shows Jabrill's confidence. Says he's trying hard to get Vic Enwere to drop the commitment to Cal and #GoBlizzyBlue, but it's been detailed here and on WTKA that Vic's decision will become clearer once he finally visits Cal to compare that to his AA trip.
Thanks for the help! Great clarification. I was in Aero and involved with RAX, which became known as RAX-1, and snowballed into MXL (I'm guessing?) I never got involved much with S3FL, but always respected the awesome work they do!
Adding to this, if you have some insight into the EE process and exactly how much interaction these student-athletes have with the coaches, weight staff, play book, etc. once they arrive on campus for that first semester?
Does the university find them dorm rooms near the other athletes, or since they're coming in halfway through the school year, are they banished to Fletcher Hall (actually doesn't seem so bad.)
M-Cubed vs. RAX vs. CAT? S3FL vs. MXL? It's great to see U-M expanding away from such an Aero focus towards more Space, but I'm having trouble keeping everyone straight!
GoBluePlasma: We have a while until the next HTTV kickstarter, so please help support Michigan's CubeSat Ambipolar Thruster (CAT)!
I was thinking the same thing - Dymonte is a dynamic playmaker and he's enrolling early. No reason to think he can't use the spring and summer to bulk up and find his way onto the field for Mattison.
Your "I Told You So" Player from this class: Darboh will be the next WR to wear the #1 and win the Biletnikoff... and Pipkins will set a Michigan record for number of times as a judge for Mock Rock

I'm pretty sure this is slapped on the tail of the plane the Harbaughs are taking today...
