Zach Charbonnet and Eric Gray both supposed to be visiting for Indiana game
According to Steve Lorenz, both Michigan RB commits Zach Charbonnet and Eric Gray are supposed to be visiting this weekend. While Charbonnet is supposed to be early enrolling, getting Gray back on campus could be huge in order to to keep him in our 2019 class

If both commit, I'm drinking Chardonnay and Earl Grey tea in honor of the occasion.

At the same time? That sounds like a truly terrible concoction.

Yes, I presume it’s sybolism for what will be shoved down the throats of our future opponents’ defenses

When I hear symbolism I think of "what is the symbology" from Boondock Saints

Good news. They both committed months ago!

getting gray to come up for a game is huge. go blue!
November 13th, 2018 at 12:15 PM ^
Smart of the staff to get them both there at the same time. There’s no BS, “you’re the guy, don’t worry about the other guy” stuff at Michigan.

Would be a great time to show off a Higdon/Evans dual RB package, where Evans is 50/50 in the backfield with Higdon or split wide.
November 13th, 2018 at 2:06 PM ^
And we'll likely see Higdon, Evans, and Wilson rotate snaps as they did against Rutgers.
November 13th, 2018 at 2:07 PM ^
Exactly, to edit the post above, please let Higdon rush for 200 yds please let Evans rush for 200 yds please let Higdon rush for 200 yds please let Evans rush for 200 yds, and so on and so forth....

Glad to hear Gray will make it up. These guys have the potential to be a 1-2 punch for the few years. Would be good to see if they're eager to play together, get along well, and see it the same way.

Huge day for blue, just got Bigger.

Eric Gray is an amazing football player and I hope he stays in the class. He'll have the opportunity to run behind an Ed Warinner OL and rack-up yards on his way to an NFL career if he sticks, not to mention playing for one of the top teams in the country and receiving a world-class education and the best alumni network in the universe.
Zach Charbonnet is the best RB commitment in a long, long time, and is likely in the two-deep in the 2019 season.
This is a big weekend indeed.

For their future, splitting carries a Michigan is a good thing. Running Backs have a very small window of effective carries in the NFL, and since we are run heavy, there will be plenty of carries between them

As shown by Nick Chubb & Michel

Not to be a party-pooper, but Michigan hasn't produced much lately in NFL running backs. Hopefully, Charbonnet and Gray can change this.

It'd be nice to hang on to both. I don't blame Gray for keeping his options open, given that there's a hot prospect already committed. And I appreciate that the staff seems to be up front about how things go. Everyone knows Gray is a soft commit, and everyone knows that they're both on the list and would compete for time, why pretend otherwise?
It's exciting to be in play for a strong class this year. Playing well has a real influence on this. Gotta finish strong.
Beat Indiana. Beat Ohio.

If Bama, UGA, USC, etc. can keep multiple highly ranked running backs so can we! Even Penn State had Sanders stick it out multiple years. Selling potential early playing time with an efficient role is just as good as selling being the workhorse/bell cow/insert adjective in my opinion.

Oh God. In this weather.....?
It's supposed to be umm... pretty much awful on Saturday
Obviously super happy they're both coming...but if this weather is anything like 2008 northwestern it may "dampen" their visit.
Regardless, hopefully the game will be better than 2008 northwestern

Well, Charbonnet's high school is about to be destroyed by a wild fire, so I'm guessing a little cold will actually be a nice change of pace from breathing smoke all day.

I was at that game, don't remind me.

Although Gray runs 4.5 40yd dash, his film shows great burst and game speed. The 2 fastest people on film I’ve seen in game are Prime Time and Dax Hill.

Gray is more quick than fast...very agile with excellent acceleration. He also has great balance with a low center of gravity...and great body lean. This lets him run through traffic quite effectively.

OTish: Dawand Jones, a 6'8" 360# OT from Ben Davis-perennial Indy area power where Evans is from, is beginning to raise interest. I was very pleasantly surprised when I pulled up his clip. This kid plays/moves pretty well.

I saw somewhere that Bailey, the 2020 Georgia QB, is coming up...to make an announcement??? It would be great to get the next outstanding QB prospect committed and on the recruiting trail.
