Coach Stew was an atrocious hire, but at the same time, ECU beats us by 30 if we play.

ECU should get some credit. I didn't watch them against VT but from watching them against WVU they are definately not a joke team that just got lucky. Having said that WVU made no adjustments. The future is looking ugly if you are a WVU fan.
p.s. Not that it had too much of an affect but I thought the Pat White fumble was a bad call by the refs; I was always taught that when the ball is down the player is down.

Look, ECU has beaten top 15 teams for two straight weeks. It's entirely possible that they're actually pretty solid.
That said, you have to question a coaching staff that has Pat White and then decides to change their offense to take advtange of his arm.

I am not questioning the fact that ECU is good. Many years, they have provided the best team in the state (NC). Wake Forest is the only team that can touch them right now. They still face two OOC teams, NC State and Virgina, which they should be favored to beat. Last year, they were competitive with Va Tech and got spanked by WVU. This year's game with WVU was a mismatch. At no point did I think WVU would come back to beat ECU. Part of that is the WVU D is terrible, part is because they looked fat and overmatched in the trenches. ECU is good and could hang with or beat most teams that I have seen so far, but WVU was bad. Very bad. Outside of Pat White and Noel Devine, there was nobody. If you get a chance to watch them you'll see. Their next game is 9/18 @ Colorado at 8:30PM on ESPN. I expect the Buffs two RB (one is the top FR RB from CA) to destroy WVU all night long.
