WVU Isn't Worried
Just saw this posted at maizenbrew.com:

I'd cut & paste some of the quotes but don't want to take away from the website's well deserved clicks. Basically though, WVU maintains that they've done a very through job of keeping records for compliance and have nothing to worry about in regards to the recent investigation.
What they fail to mention is how these compliance records could have possibly managed to escape the maniacal shredding of RR.
Certainly reassuring. Just get on with the season - enough already.
neither am I

They don't worry until they have just one tin of Red Man Chew left in the sleeve or face a 7 piece table setting.
Yeah, I checked my personal tax files, etc and even those electronically stored -- they're all gone!
Damn you Rich!!

Maybe this will make West Virginia fans believe "RR mud slinging" can still negatively impact their program, causing them to tone it down......

I was pretty sure this was always a "nothing to see here folks" kind of thing. Hopefully that perception is reality.
Let's all look at the facts and recognize what really happened here. The NCAA made a phone call to WVU to ask about compliance issues regarding practice time, etc. WVU, knowing that they were fine, gave the NCAA a big welcome and asked for them to come snooping. Then, they made sure to announce to whomever would listen that the NCAA was investigating RR's years there. Just one more chance to throw some mud in RR's face...
