That’s a good idea. He had a great breakout year last year but definitely needs to prove himself to be a high round pick. I would think most guys that aren’t in the top three rounds draft grade will be coming back. Outside of Nico, Ambry, and I guess Mayfield, I wouldn’t expect too many going to the draft.
the caveat is that there will obviously be more competition than usual to earn a starting spot.

Smart move by 44. If he can cut down on the missed plays to go with his elite upside, this decision could pan out very well for his draft prospects.
