Will Hart had by far the worst day of his career. Is he battling an injury?
There isn’t a special teams snowflake thread and I didn’t see it mentioned anywhere else.
Will Hart has been a great punter for a Michigan these past two years, however, today he didn’t look himself with his punts being about 10 yards shorter than average. Any word on if he’s battling an injury or if he just had an off day?

On the radio they said he was booming them in warmups before the game. Maybe just the yips?

So the YIPS are contagious??? First Quinn had them and now passed them on to Will???

I think just a bad game. He did have one good punt inside the 20 in the game. Not great conditions at Indiana either so I’ll definitely give him the benefit of the doubt

At that stage all his punts went short, that one just happened to be a punt from a field position where a really short one is good. Hard to say if that was intentional or just a coincidence.

Yea it wasn’t a great game but if he’s going to have a bad one I’d rather it be this week than next. Hopefully we don’t even see him against Ohio

He did finally pin one inside the 10 though.

Feels like he booms those into the endzone more often than not. Short punts arent all bad.

When you're punting from your 30 or 40, it would be nice to have longer than a 30 yard punt. He was awful yesterday. First two punts changed field position 20 and 24 yards. From the 32 to the 48 and from the 38 to the 38. The third was a 39 yard change, from the 43 to the 4. last one was 31, from the 40 to the 29.

No punts next week. Score every possession.

Simple solution to a simple problem.

Memoral Stadium where IU plays is almost as bad with crazy wind patterns and directions as the Shoe, that and the wind direction changed during the game.... Look at the kickoffs very few went into the endzone most were short. Only the short field goals and Extra Points were not bothered.

Indiana had 4 punts for 47 yard average. We had 4 for a 31 yard average. Both guys had to punt in the same conditions; they don’t explain Hart’s performance.

He got gonorrh-herpe-syphill-aids from East Landfill sideline
week of Z-pack, rest, whole milk and steak, and he’ll be fine against AN Ohio State University

Seems like Hart has been pretty unreliable all year, alternating booming punts and shanks. I don't know what's been going on with him

Then let’s blame the refs

He had had a bad year.
