Why Oh Why Can't We Live Like This

The more stats I look at the more I wonder why we can't we have this. It's so frustrating that we're just so bad in comparison. I want an explosive offense. I would love a semi-explosive offense. I want a school that true top tier talent wants to come to because they really believe we can win. I want to live like this!

Back when we thought you could have integrity and be elite, we despised the wicked. Now that we have learned otherwise, we wish we were they. Seems appropriate.

Not that the larger point doesn't count, but they did play another game.  And none of the teams OSU played against are particularly good (I guess Cincy is fine).  By comparison, Michigan has now played 2 of their 3 games against squads that finished last year ranked, including one with the #1 offense AND defense in the country, on the road.  Michigan's offense definitely needs to get better, but just raw comparisons feels a bit unreasonable.

Because you have to post this, that's why.

Because there are malicious forces in the world that do job us on 4th downs because we have entitled fans who whine that we deserve something we haven't earned.  Because we have blogs and fans that spit on 10win Lloydball because they're too dumb to understand The Horror isn't one game it's the WORST.DEFENSE.IN.SCHOOL.HISTORY for three consecutively worsening years, followed by a kit in Wolverine's clothes for another 4, followed by idiots who have proven their absolute inability to learn anything from any of this.

This is one game.  Yeah, I'm mad at that performance, I'm madder that I bought the hype that the defense had only given up 7 points when not hamstrung by turnovers and an offense that ought to be...  Yet, I'm maddest that there's no perspective.  No ability to see one game to the next, these rollercoasters are a huge problem.  There are no silver bullets, no single, "do this and win all the trophies forever".  Am I willing to see my team cheat?  No I'd rather root for an Ivy League team.  If you're inclined to hire Urban, let me humbly request you just go roll tide, because football already has plenty of whores, it really doesn't need another.

Was watching some highlights of him, he doesn't take many hits. Gets out of the way most of the time or into the end zone. If he does get hurt though you're relying on two transfers who don't have a ton of experience. Might be our only shot this year. All though, after watching Wisconsin ... we might get beat by Chugi-whatever his name is.

I think Urban Meyer explained the difference in the programs in that video of him breaking down film that was posted a few weeks ago. He said something like this is a player's game, not a coach's game. He also explained how he would ask the O and D coordinators who the best 11 athletes they had were and game plan for their best players. If that meant changing formations or schemes, so be it. Can anyone imaging JMFH changing his style to fit the best athletes on the team? Yeah, me neither. He will always think he's the smartest guy in the room even though the on field results keep proving otherwise.
