Why Jim Harbaugh, Jabrill Peppers, and Don Brown are a perfect match for Michigan
read as your avatar= AWESOME!
Great article. Great analysis by someone who is actually paying attention and not just filling in a template with new names.
There was actually some meat on the bones.
Yeah like a slice of Turkey lunch meat so thin you can see through it
When all you've been fed is Chiclets for 6 months - Michigan has a QB controversy! - Turkey lunch meat looks like a feast.
"Here’s an example of how that (Peppers in the SAM) could play out against one of Ohio State’s favorite formations"
*Swoon*
This was fluffier than a rabbit's tail, but thanks anything football related on this slow, offseason Monday.
A mustard yellow maize rabbit's tail or a highlighter yellow maize rabbit's tail?
I believe the official, trademarked rabbit's tail of Adidas is called "Sun"
There's no trademarked or copyrighted colors EVER!!!
What was fluffy? The writer (Ian Boyd) explained four different answers to a singular problem for the QB. He also explained why he believes the three named subjects are perfect for each other. Not sure how that qualifies as fluff, unless a game recap or 'Hello:' story also qualifies as fluff.
It says Harbaugh is a good offensive coach, Don Brown is good at defense. Sometimes he will blitz Jabrill, but sometimes he will drop into coverage. This is good for Michigan because Jabrill is a good athlete.

Did you read the article?
No, he did not. But he is an expert since he stayed at a Holiday Inn Express a couple years ago.

Yep. And my "great insight" tracker was still at zero when I read the last word.
Stay woke.
Indeed, because Peppers is such a versatile athlete — equally comfortable playing on the edge as he is in man coverage or zone — his deployment at the Sam position may prove devastating for opponents. He’ll align around the box in this position but it’ll be hard to for opponents to discern where he’ll actually end up after the snap.
The more I watch footage of Don Brown's Boston College work, the more I like the idea of Peppers as an LB really. Having that sort of athlete in this defense is going to make for a lot of tragically brief runs from the other team and I am most definitely OK with that.
We ain't losing a game this year.
Done.
Michigan is taking back it's corners!

Written for Athlon Sports by Ian Boyd, so I'm not real surprised that he knows the subject. I'd like to see something like this from, say, a guy like Phil Steele. Someone who should know what he's talking, but largely doesn't.
Steele isn't a football guy, he doesn't understand scheme. He can tell you how many returning starters a team has though. LOL.
Peppers will hit Spartans and Buckeyes over and over and over.
I always laugh at the UM haters who still cling to the (ridiculous) notion that Jim will leave Michigan, at least before he does anything great as the coach. I personally believe that Jim will retire as the Michigan coach, but if he leaves for another job after doing great things at Michigan, I won't hold it against him. It will still suck, of course.

at bar, talking shit about M football every chance he gets and with each new loud mouth, becoming brighter and brighter. Last year, he began to look a bit dumber and dumber - remember he talks this way every game, not just when we play the kids living near the river's edge.
In the past 6, 7 years, he's probably increased the number of notches on his belt by at least 2. Hell, they've had a hell of a run. Now he'll just have to return to pounding off on his usual calendar of twice per day. Relax, idiot, with today's drugs, blame it on the pharaceutical giants. Tell your friends you're dumb because they fucked up your meds. I am sure they won't notice you weren't a dumb ass to begin with. You probably snuck that one right by them.
