We get Harbaugh, State and OSU lose and we start off 1-0 in B10 with a comeback win!

I did delete the octuple post for you, but I would like to mention as a general note for the board that the reason most such repeats - wether they are caused by a phone or site problems - is that they have to be deleted one at a time in this interface unfortunately, so anyone who has left a duplicate inside a thread and seen their plea for the mod to delete the duplicate go unanswered, that's usually why.

December 1997. Woodson won the Heisman. Hockey beat BC (Michigan later won the national title that year) Basketball upset #1 Duke.

I would say winning the Sugar Bowl in Hoke's first season and beating OSU in 2003 to capture the B1G Title were some pretty great days.  Even beating Indiana in 2006 to go to 11-0 going into the OSU game was a great day.

The day we beat Syracuse to go to the national championship game. Things are only getting better too. Recruiting should be amazing and good coaches will want to coach for Coach Harbaugh.

Being a CMU grad, Sept 12, 2009 was a great day. Tailgated with college friends and watched CMU beat Sparty. Then we drove home (wife was DD) and watched the Tate Forcier comeback game against ND. Went to the bar to celebrate the victory with friends and watch Spartys cry into their beers. All in all probably drank for 14 hours that day. Hadn't boozed that much since college. But Jan 1 1998 post has to be tops....

I did 2 chicks at the same time on campus one time. This day was good for the university as well. You know what, I would say today was the best day every actually, besides any national championship day by the football team.

That night Michigan beat Syracuse in the Final Four to make it to the championship game.  It seemed like the whole campus converged on to the diag after the Hardaway dunk.  I even made the trek all the way from Bursley on North to run around the Diag and high five people.

That tourney run was one hell of a ride. Still hurts that they were so damn close, and they couldn't get it done because that team was not going to be the same after that spring.

That Nebraska also had a game to play, thrashing Tennessee and Peyton Manning.  Michigan's grand day was brought down a notch with the split of the MNC.

I go back a ways and I can't think of a greater day in Michigan sports history.  For this day isn't about memories of what happened, this is about the future and memories yet to come.  This is about having another Bo Schembechler except this time we know what we're getting before the first snap has been played.  The last time Michigan hired a national powerhouse coach to lead the football team was 1938 when Fritz Crisler was brought in from Princeton.  This day was even greater than that because not only is Jim Harbaugh a national powerhouse coach, he's a direct connection back to Bo Schembechler.

Don't forget that Monday night, we beat MSU to win our 16th GLI.  From 7PM Monday-7 PM Tuesday, we had GLI over State, Big Ten BB over Illinois, and Jimmy coming home.  So much success over a number of sports programs!
