What would a loss to Indiana mean?

I don't think anyone (except RR) really knew what type of team we could have expected to see this year. I expected them to be better; however, they would be starting a true freshman at QB and would still be a very young team overall. I figured there would be games this year that we would win and weren't supposed to (ND), but there will also be games that we lose when we were supposed to win. The fact that MSU follows has me a little concerned they could be looking ahead.

and that RR and GERG will be on every players ass all week to be prepared for MSU. Personally, I don't think the coaches on this team will take anyone, any team, or any situation lightly all season. This season is shaping up as a statement season for RR. He needs it for the control of the program and the message to the alumni. The media needs this season to decide what their agenda will be going forward. If we block and tackle well the next three weeks, ANYTHING is possible(except a losing season). RR wants to be in the Big 10 discussion and IU is the first step toward that goal.

UM's points scored -- 31, 38, 45. I think the number will increase again against IU as the young guys continue to improve. The team wants to make a statement to the B10 in game #1 against IU. And that statement will be 50-20, Michigan.
