What ever happened to "Opponent Watch" written by BiSB. If is was already explained I apologize - I just really looked forward to it every week!!

Seems like BiSB had an uptick in his personal/professional life that limited his time in writing the column. I agree wholeheartedly that the column is dearly missed, and I hope that the downtime between beating OSU and the game on the 1st means that one will be coming out tomorrow!

I find this inexcusable. Everyone has births, deaths, work commitments, tragedies, elation... Prioritizing any of these over my free content???  Like I typed: inexcusable.

I know it’s been mentioned that life got in the way, but my personal head cannon is that the writers and owners of the site also realized it was a favorite feature on the r/cfb sub on Reddit so it was cancelled to deprive those mouthbreathing group thinkers of their shiny toy as punishment for jumping early on the “UM bad” train.

It may have been a “this hurts me more than it hurts you” punishment, but something had to be done.

Just posting to say this is my favorite thing to read on MGoBlog as well.  And that's a commentary on how awesome Opponent Watch is, not disparagement of all the other good stuff.

I made a thread about this a while back as well (totally valid question though, no worries there). BiSB explained that he has a transition with his work and it made things really difficult for him to give the same time-commitment to Opponent Watch. I'm hoping for an offseason OW now where we can go back and make fun of each of our 15 opponents after the season.
