WBB @ Illinois tomorrow, postponed due to weather
the ladies can probably use a couple extra days rest after monday night:
- emily kiser rolled her ankle and needed to be helped off the court before returning,
- leigha brown played reduced minutes after seeming to aggravate her knee injury from earlier this season - and hobbling badly for a couple of possessions late,
- danielle rauch left for a few minutes with a leg injury, and
- amy dilk got knocked around several times.
caitlin clark and iowa come in sunday night at 6:30. we'll need healthy bodies to keep this from becoming a track meet.

On the other hand, Illinois stinks, last free win of the year. Got Iowa twice, Maryland (home), MSU twice, and Northwestern (road) left.

Sounds like bullshit to me. They're playing a men's game at the fka Assembly Hall right now and the weather should clear out by tomorrow.
Sounds like there could be a Title IX issue here.

With a Winter Storm Warning in effect in SE Michigan until 4am Thursday, there may be travel and logistical issues that made it too difficult to justify the trip tomorrow.

The problem is not the weather in Champaign or Madison. It's the weather in the Detroit area. Making it impossible to fly out on Thursday morning. No conspiracy here.

Honestly, this is kind of a blessing in disguise to my mind- with the injuries after the Indiana game, a couple extra days rest/treatment couldn't hurt.
Especially with an important game on Sunday coming up.
If you haven't seen this women's team play in person, you really need to- they're a ton of fun to watch, and play fantastic defense. Plus, Naz really is a singular talent.
