WBB hosting #23 Iowa at 6:30 today
Big one at Crisler today. The ladies can really get clear of the third-place Hawkeyes with a win.
The Iowa ladies are a weird parallel to the Iowa men - they can really light up the scoreboard..on both sides. Caitlin Clark will probably win B1G POY and can score from anywhere, due in no small part because she only works on one end of the floor.
I scoff, but she’s honestly a walking triple-double and a fantastic player. Monika Czinzano and McKenna Warnock are also very good. Should be a good one. Be there!

Thanks for the heads up, but I'll have to send cyber-cheers! I don't see a TV listing anywhere, but haven't looked too hard, yet. In any case, good luck to the best basketball team in Ann Arbor!

Love the WBB team. But, otherwise, a pretty shitty take here. I am curious what you think the score would be if they played the MBB???

This right HERE is a pretty shitty take. You should think outside the box a little bit.

We are rollin' down the road in some cold blue steel
We had Hillmon in the back, and KBA at the wheel
We heading down to Chrisler to kick some Hawkeye ass
We laughin' and we jokin' as we step on the gas.
Oh, we're bad, we're nationwide.
Yeah, we're bad, we're nationwide

We shall be there. Go Blue!!

A filled lower bowl would great.

Also got a 2023 commit yesterday. Taylor Woodson out of Minnesota, #27 player in that class according to ESPN so fringe 4/5*.

Don't know much about her. She is 6ft guard. We need more athleticism at the guard position. Would be great if she has the quickness to penetrate and dish.
February 7th, 2022 at 11:59 AM ^
ari wiggins is one of the most athletic guards we've ever had. her entire game is penetrating / dishing / defense. right now she's a freshman point guard, playing behind our senior captain and co-emotional leader, our best shooter, our best all-court scorer, and a former indiana miss basketball that's coming back from injury. the talent is there.

Watching from home until the asinine mandates are dropped. Go Blue!

GO BLUE!!!

Caitlin Clark will probably win B1G POY
It'll be a travesty if Naz doesn't win...
February 6th, 2022 at 1:12 PM ^
She's averaging 26.5/8/8
February 7th, 2022 at 12:00 PM ^
no, she'll win it. voters like stats
February 6th, 2022 at 5:36 PM ^
Heading home now for dinner and then a heaping TV helping of Naz and the women crushing Caitlin and Herky.
February 6th, 2022 at 6:09 PM ^
I am here. The woman in the row in front of me said she saw Leigha Brown in a boot. They’ve been in the locker room since I got here.
February 6th, 2022 at 6:17 PM ^
Definitely not dressed to play and in a boot. Next woman up.
February 6th, 2022 at 6:30 PM ^
Ugh. Hate losing Leigha Brown. Iowa is going to be a tough game. Caitlyn Clark is on another level.
February 6th, 2022 at 6:38 PM ^
Plus side is Phelia is our best defender.
February 6th, 2022 at 6:48 PM ^
Phelia looking good and so is Cam Williams
February 6th, 2022 at 6:44 PM ^
Off to a strong start. 14-7 Michigan at the first media time out.
February 6th, 2022 at 6:53 PM ^
Naz's hands remain absurd.
February 6th, 2022 at 6:58 PM ^
Love this team! Great 1st quarter. Up 25 -15. All of the wolverines looking good!
February 6th, 2022 at 6:58 PM ^
What a great job by Dilk to get to the middle of the zone.
February 6th, 2022 at 7:08 PM ^
Strong second quarter. 41-26 at the second media time out. A couple of Hawkeyes are playing with two fouls. It would be nice to pin a third before halftime.
February 6th, 2022 at 7:15 PM ^
Phelia is the only person who can stay in front of Clark. Clark is just a different level of athlete than most people in the Big Ten.
February 6th, 2022 at 7:24 PM ^
48-36 at the half. Iowa tried to make a run but we mostly fended it off.
