WBB commit to All Names team
Syla Swords committed to UM yesterday for Women’s Basketball in an instagram post. I sure hope someone at Crisler is already thinking up sharp swashbuckling graphics for her. Swords is a 4 star Canadian prospect currently playing at a high school in New York (Long Island Lutheran) and is at training camp with the Canadian senior national team.
She joins Olivia Olson in UM’s 2024 class, a class which is now only allowed to have players whose first and last names start with the same letter.

Either of them would be our highest ranked commit all-time (Phelia was #28 in her class)
She's easy to recognize around campus.
