November 20th, 2010 at 6:53 PM ^
We had just scored a TD...I was so alarmed/confused/freaked out.
November 20th, 2010 at 9:34 PM ^
because stonum was not the receiver he thought Denard should have thrown to and he was worried that it would have come down as an int. I was looking for the egg he was laying.
November 20th, 2010 at 6:57 PM ^
Might be the face after he leaves DB's office if the OSU game doesn't go well.

i thought so
November 20th, 2010 at 7:03 PM ^
Because he could stop hearing people bitch all the time.
This team is 7-4, just like Iowa.
November 20th, 2010 at 7:14 PM ^
In terms of records, we are just like Iowa. Unfortunately, all four of Iowa's losses were heart breaking last minute types. I'll take the progress our offense has made this year as a sign of good things to come in the future, but our four losses do not compare to Iowa's losses.
November 20th, 2010 at 7:16 PM ^
but at the end of the day, four losses are four losses.
November 20th, 2010 at 7:21 PM ^
You are right, but do you also feel that if our losses were close and in games where we had a chance to win less people would whine and complain?
November 20th, 2010 at 7:34 PM ^
They won last week and listening to the radio post-game sounded like the team lost. Same the week before.
This team could be 10-1 with the first loss today and we would hear people complaining.
November 20th, 2010 at 7:29 PM ^
Iowa's loses were closer and/or against better teams. They smoked Sparty (Michigan lost by 17), the smoked Penn State (Michigan lost by 10).
Ask yourself this, if the season ended today, which 7-4 team would go to a better bowl game? I'll guess that it's Iowa.
November 20th, 2010 at 7:34 PM ^
If the season ended today, as per your hypo, the bowl game would get the pick of the team they want. Michigan is a better draw in terms of national spotlight than Iowa. So yea, I would disagree.
November 20th, 2010 at 7:37 PM ^
You can disagree, but I'm pretty sure Iowa would be a better draw. They've played much better football than Michigan. They too have a national brand, especially with their recent success. It may not be Michigan's national brand, but it's still strong. They also travel just as well as Michigan fans.
November 20th, 2010 at 7:43 PM ^
I won't quarrel with you. Too much respect.
November 20th, 2010 at 7:45 PM ^
I apprecaite well thought out arguments on why. I just don't think Michigan offers bowls a better draw this year. Michigan isn't a guarantee of a good game. Still a lot of errors. Defense is what it is. Our national brand is a lot of name and not a lot of production.
A better bowl will want the best teams with national power. Iowa offers the best combination. The bowls don't want to risk a dud or blowout. Michigan is a risk there. Iowa offers the better game. That's all I'm saying.
November 20th, 2010 at 7:52 PM ^
But really, after the two BCS slots and the Cap One bowl, aren't the rest of the B10 spots, save for the Pizza Pizza Bowl kinda just a push in terms of which one is that much better?
November 20th, 2010 at 8:56 PM ^
Agree with this and the above. I think there's an argument that Michigan's offensive fireworks and the potential for a shootout in the game might be an attraction to some.
Obviously not the only thing to take into account (and I think Iowa would be taken over UM), but there is a bit more appeal of UM's offense than Iowa's.
November 20th, 2010 at 9:40 PM ^
does how well your fan base travels get factored into which team is chosen? I heard somewhere that the bowls take that into consideration based on the money it will produce for the venue and the surrounding area.
November 20th, 2010 at 7:04 PM ^
That's funny, but if you really think about the whole situation, RR is clearly in over his head and with the (deserved) beating he's taken in three seasons, if DB does the right thing and axes him before next season, I think RR will be the most relieved man in college football .
November 20th, 2010 at 7:08 PM ^
however you not only need to beaten with a bag of diseased cocks, you also need a hammer taken to your hand Casino style.
November 20th, 2010 at 7:11 PM ^
You should know the 'right thing' is subjective. For me, the right thing is offering him an extension.
He is not over his head, this is the best offense this school and conference has ever witnessed, even with the turnovers. Denard is the first 1500/1500 player and a true #1 back is coming in next season. The defense has 5 true freshmen.
November 20th, 2010 at 7:29 PM ^
The only people that would want to offer RR an extension are the blind faith UM fans and the residents of the states of Ohio, Iowa, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and all of the MSU fans. Aren't you happy to be in that company, that should tell you something? When someone is so blinded, it's not worth my time arguing the position. His 3 season record speaks for itself.
November 20th, 2010 at 7:40 PM ^
You are trying to corner me by making a fairly bad argument. Coah Rodriguez gives this team the best opportunity for this team to win in 2011 and 2012.
And really, this isn't my first rodeo with this topic on this board, and it appears to be yours. So please, bring your A-game next time.
I hope I came across as a dick, becasue that was my intention with you. Normally I am far from that on here, but dude, you're bringing it out in me tonight.
November 20th, 2010 at 9:46 PM ^
With DR's numbers this year, taking into consideration how much he has improved since this time last year. I see a number of coaches simply converting DR to a Percy Harvin type but RR turned this guy into a star in the making in just one year.
November 20th, 2010 at 7:50 PM ^
Quit bringing out Bryan's dick!
November 20th, 2010 at 8:06 PM ^
Denard is the first 1500/2000 player. Which is even cooler!
November 20th, 2010 at 7:09 PM ^
You're retarded.
November 20th, 2010 at 9:21 PM ^
ObjectiveUMfan, I'm donating my points towards you never being able to start a thread.
November 20th, 2010 at 8:11 PM ^
All I wanted was a thread that didn't have somebody saying RR could be fired.
Screw you.

I hope someone asks about this at the monday presser.
GERG has completly lost it..... can't wait to see what Brian thinks of this.
November 20th, 2010 at 9:35 PM ^
I honestly want to cry after seeing this. Is that the gopher from caddyshack?
November 20th, 2010 at 10:40 PM ^
Les Miles would be jealous seeing something like this... I think GERG might actually have lost his mind...

The whole sequence around that. As suggested, the gif is much needed.
November 20th, 2010 at 7:44 PM ^
Sorry, bud... best i could do. Someone far more talented than me at such things will no doubt get you what you need.
