Walker Kessler committed to UNC

According to twitter, he committed to North Carolina this evening. Why we keep fishing in this dirty ass pond is beyond me.

Yay BPONE is now spreading to basketball. Honestly I think Howard needs to have a good first year before we start recruiting like gangbusters.

Maybe we get Burnett and that can help get a couple more Top 50 talents.

I'm really not trying to be negative, I am not sure why hes tried to come in here and fish in a nasty ass pond. There are players in the 50-150 range that might have been much more in play. I'd love to be wrong but I can see him having to take late flyers and coach his way into recruiting higher caliber players.

He’s not settling, and why should he? Let him figure out how he wants to recruit. The criticisms before Howard has a season to do so are asinine. Every time a recruit goes somewhere else fans gotta add some conclusion about how the coach needs to recruit better.

Remove your phone from your armchair managing. Stop acting like everyone the Dukes and UNCs don’t lose out on recruits. They do, miraculously. I mean, mathematically.

Not to worry...I think we have a good shot at Juwan's kid who received no other Power 5 offers.

Anybody else starting to think hiring an NBA assistant with no college or head coaching experience might not have been the greatest idea?

Yes, but the real issue here is that he's ONLY been fishing in the big fish pond. He's barely offered anyone outside the top 40 besides his son and the fact that we don't have any fall back options is a little concerning. I'd honestly like to see Juwan go after some kids in the 60-100 range who are already committed and take some recruits from other schools

At what point do we start getting concerned about the 2020 class? We lead for Nimari Burnett and that seems to be about it. We're getting visits from Isaiah Todd and Joshua Christopher so we have to push hard for them. Juwan really does need to start giving out some fall back option offers or we're gonna end up with a 3 man class when we need a 5 man class and one of them being his son

I'm more optimistic than I was before about Burnett, but I will believe it when I see it.

Bama and Oregon play by different rules than us, and their coaches also are proven head coaches. Howard needs to put all of his eggs in the Burnett basket right now
