It’s not gonna be a top 10 class but we can hope it stays top 20 or even sneaks into top 15. Definitely a developmental class but we can afford to have those every once in a while.

We’ll see when it’s all said and done.  I’m counting on some high end recruits to sign that aren’t counted in the class. Either a flip or late addition. We add one 5 star and 2 more 4 stars and we are right at TN top ten. Plus the portal… I think we may be real close.  All Ties go to the 〽️! Positivity baby!! 
 

*EDIT* while still VERY positive, I’ve spent some time looking at the rankings and now realize we have the whole two star kicker ruining our star average so yeah, we won’t pass some of the schools ahead of us even if we have a better class.

I feel GREAT!   I love this staff and how they just keep working, keep grinding.  I’m not sure what happened 2016-2020 (new baby, depression, Pandemic, all of it? But through it all, even our lowest rated commitment class is one of the best and in the hunt for a Natty…. (Hate the term but the players love it so I gladly defer)

Portal wins coming fast and furious after decades of transfer challenges.  This time of tremendous change has been, is being led meticulously and with stability. Let’s have us a great ENSD today!

(I may be over looking the Mid-life crisis of winter 2022 but I’m choosing to wear 〽️aize colored glasses today!〽️)

Another dumbass surgery 35 years too early. Thumb cmc arthroplasty, trapezii ectomy with a tightrope suspension and suture saddle between the apb & apl tendons. 

An appointment with genetics in a couple weeks to confirm an Ehlers-Danlos diagnosis and which type- Mama always said I was special.

Excited to have some explanations at least.

Oh you know, not all that uncommon- for a 75-80 y/o woman; not so much for a 40 y/o guy. But that was finally the last straw that started the search for an underlying soft tissue problem which is turning out to be Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. So that diagnosis and understanding is an ok gift I guess.

You're right, of course. But, as we all know we can have two Fridays per week (you know who you are and what you did :-) ), so why not have two Christmases this week?

Or, just celebrate Yule today, continue with Channukak, move on to Christmas when it's time and then celebrate New Years?

Santa?

Good dude! He's arranged for

1. younger (MI legacy) son to come home for the winter light vacation(s) through the new year - and he's bringing NYC bagels and bialys in mass quantities! Yeah!

2. An incipient medical catastrophe averted with some hurried and awkward, holy crap are you really doing that to me, live on multiple screens, thanks for the fentanyl I don't give AF what you're doing, I feel nothing, 120 minutes "procedure". Much better than the 2018 "surprise, you've 20 minutes to fix this or else!" event.

3. Also got to hear the best damn word, ever, from my Keeper's MDs: benign.

4. Of lesser importance but still wonderful is 13-0 and some nice goodies under the portal tree and/or Channukah Bush (your choice).

Someone needs to start a thread about their favorite Christmas movie. The only real answer, of course, is Die Hard, but we can argue that out in a few days.

St Joe Blues

Daughter #2 and hubby just left OIivia, MN in the middle of a blizzard, heading to Milwaukee today. Then early tomorrow Daughter #1 and #2 are coming to St. Joe. Praying for clear roads and good visibility.

Them getting here safely will be my 2nd best gift of The Season. (Gloria in excelsis Deo)
