Wake Up - It's Game Day!

Submitted by The Fugitive on

Top of the morning to ya.  If you're not awake yet, get awake!  The game starts soon!

What's in your cup this morning?  I have a fruit smoovie to get me started.  I'll migrate to coffee before too long.

We can win this game today, Go Blue!

Dark roast extra bold as I just finished reading Brian's preview while listening to the MGoRadio podcast.

I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised today.  Need to play our best game of the year and we got a shot at this.  Protect the ball, win the field position battle and kick it thru the uprights!

Taking care of babies in the NICU. Home now with coffee and then probably Cherry Wheat (don’t judge me). Hoping for a surprise win today! Go Blue!

Be drinking that cherry wheat in chapagne glasses with your pinky finger arched?

Will you be paring your cherry wheat with a fresh spinach and strawberry salad with low fat raspberry vinaigrette?

Will you be taking a stroll with your favorite hound whilst sharing your top hat and cane with the world after you enjoy your cherry wheat?

Sorry....I tried not to judge, but.... I had to.

Good for you on taking care of the babies in the NICU. I attended a Memorial last week for some friends who adopted an infant in the NICU who had a rare kidney condition. He fought for 4 months, but he is home with the Lord now. Blessings to you. If I were near you, I would purchase you a couple cases of Cherry Wheat (even though it’s disgusting) just to give you some props.

podcast, do it before game time. There is a great segment on Bo in it. It's well worth listening to. Also the Harbaugh podcast with Rick Flair was terrific this week. Dad and Jim talk about officiating as well and make fun of this year's sideline behavior rule being drafted because of our coach.

Brandon Peters vs. Thundersacks.

If he gets rattled or injured, we're done. If he shakes it off and goes all Gritty McGritface, we have a chance.

Water this morning. Anxious but excited for the game. I think the good guys pull this one out. Nordin bounces back and hits 3 field goals and Michigan wins 23-17.

Just working on my first cup of coffee in preparation for not only the game but for a house full of people, most of whom are not sports people and will be asking me questions throughout the game, which I can't stand in-game. However, I have to try and put a good face on it somehow.

As Michigan fans we are probably overstating what a win would mean but damn a win against a top 5 team on the road?!?! That would be insane!

The Secret Life of Pets followed by SING! Then the gym to get a little burn in! No drinks for me until later as the lovely wife and I have a friends-giving put on by our church to attend. Hopeful that Peters can connect on at least 3 deep balls to keep the defense honest. I’m hoping that DPJ or Perry also takes a quick slant to the house! GO BLUE!!!!!!

I have been up for a while thinking about this game. Every big game Michigan had under Harbaugh, the one we feel good about does not happen. But the one we don't feel good about happens. Too much melodrama there but it feels that way. So let us hope the one we feel less confident about, Peters and our passing game as opposed to their passing game, takes off. Go Blue! Put on a show Peters!
