Thanks for the video. He looks promising enjoy watching him break tackles. He looks to have have good hands. Some time in Harbaughs program will make him an excellent TE.

He is probably my favorite under the radar guy that is committed.  Supposedly, his measureables are off the chart but he is from an area that doesn't get a lot of scouting.  Seems like a perfect Harbaugh tight end.

yeah that area (pretty sure its near mass borders w conn and ri) is not huge in terms of football recruiting - you can kind of tell just looking at the film, mckeon might be the biggest kid on the field some games, not much size on the lines or speed at skill positions, sidelines are almost empty compared to bigger schools in larger divisions or other areas where they field 100+ kids, etc.

agreed, mckeon looks like a solid prospect though, a high floor type that may not wow you getting off the bus but will get the job done.  theres usually 2 ways to go at TE recruiting - guys like mckeon, jake butt, etc who play high school ball at like 6'5" 225 or whatever and appear to already fit mold of traditional TEs or the bigger project type TEs with less college ready bodies who look and maybe play more like bball small forwards or even played hs as bigger WRs, like bunting or funchess or the kid M wanted from canada (who i believe picked ND).  and i guess identifying H-back types could be viewed as another category depending on the program.

sorry, long post here, but i really like mckeons prospects under this staff - they no doubt have a great track record with TE id and development so itd be tough to say otherwise though.  he obviously doesnt have reggie bush or peppers type tape but its easy to notice some strengths.  i like his hands and balance.  the kid appears to always try to pluck it with hands which is great to see especially for TEs who must catch balls underneath or in traffic and he effectively high points it as well (though defenders look 5'10" so..).  also he shows some nice balance and flexibility when breaking tackles, maneuvering, adjusting to less accurate throws, etc and those traits are never a given for 6'4" 230 lb or whatever 17 yr olds.

does the kid play basketball as well?  itd be a nice bonus if so.  in my experience the best overall athletes can typcially compete on hoops court even if its just rebounding, d'ing up, etc and not necessarily banging jumpers or wowing w perfect technique.

he also shows effort on tape, the will to block, which is not always a given.  and he obviously does not mind getting after it - i recall interview with him re commitment and he made a point of referencing the coaching staffs priorities, personalities, work ethic, etc and indicated hes an all in type cat.  so hell be just fine.  might not impact as quickly as butt or funchess but wouldnt surprise me if he ended up intriguing some scouts and personnel people down the line

How much time to we have(i.e can I vote once I get off work).

Edit.

"@michigannews247: Possible Big-Time USC Player Looking To Transfer To Michigan via Sam Webb #GoBlue" saw this on Twitter.... Have any of you heard anything? I'm thinking Iman Marshall... But that's a complete guess

I am glad McKeon  is coming to the Wolverine TE Machine and I am in shock that tight ends arent banging on the door to Schembechler Hal to play for Harbaugh and Harbaugh the Football Gods gifts to tight tends
