The point is that The ChadTough Foundation has VERY close ties to the Michigan family and as Michigan fans we should support it. No one is asking you to donate, just to click on a link and click a button to vote so $100k can go to this great cause

However, I think the commenter was just expressing the idea that no matter who wins, the money is going to a good cause. I personally don't know what charity Matt Painter picked, but as a self-aware person, I think it's reasonable to expect that it is going to another important charity that has a positive impact. I vote a couple times a week for Belein because I do believe in the ChadTough foundation, but I also am aware that if another coach wins, then maybe the money will go to a charity that has just as much of a positive impact, if not more.
The commenter you are replying to could have phrased it better for sure, and it seemed like a pretty lazy/dickish comment. But I see where he/she is coming from..... I think.
