The Buckeyes will always have more spring game attendance bc the only thing to do in Ohio other than meth, is go watch ohio.

O'Korn
Speight
Morris
Peters
Malzone
O'Korn made some better throws than I remember. He also made a lot of really poor decisions and was lucky to not throw an INT a few times. Fits the bill with what we've heard. He won't be throwing against a converted walk-on WR moonlighting as CB like he did in this one (think he completed 4 of his passes against poor damn Sloss).
than the reports suggested, at least to me. Peters looks really, really promising.
See, I actually feel the opposite after watching the Spring Game. I think O'Korn raised his stock even more and I'm now convinced he'll be the starter this fall.
Yeah, Speight looked good and Peters as well, but O'Korn has that mobility that is just a game changer. It looked like 90% of the time he ran with the ball he got a first down (or better). Speight and Peters just can't replicate that.
I would gladly trade 10 to 20% throwing accuracy for 40% gain in mobility. And it's not like O'Korn's passing was terrible either.
Speight was much more relaxed in the pocket, and while not as fast as O'Korn, can still get out of the pocket and pick up yards with his legs.
The race for starting QB is close, and either guy could snatch the spot away from the other. If O'Korn develops a better pocket presence, I think his mobility makes him the guy. Right now though, it's Speight, and if Wilton continues to improve he will be a solid starter!

the choice being high upside vs. low variance.
I gotta admit, right now I'd be with low variance.
Fall practice oftentimes changes everything of course. We'll see.
Peters does not look like a true freshman.
Good field and situation awareness, cool under pressure. Not that it means diddly-squat at this point in time, but that pass to Wheatley should be credited as a completion, then a fumble on Tyrone's part, since it looked like he took a step after the catch and THEN lost the ball.
Big thanks to the OP for editing the replay by QB.
I thought each QB showed some positives.
I thought O'Korn showed the most potential - his arm and legs looked the best to me.
O'Korn was a little too quick to run, but split line, its a spring game, he hasn't played since 2014 blah blah blah, not worried. We will be fine with either Speight or O'Korn.
OT...is there any video of the signees being introduced at halftime? BTN2GO didn't cover it. Thx
I thought Speight's sideline throws sometimes took a while to get there.
When live bullets fly, that could lead to PBU or INT. His variance may not be all that low.
