It was November 26th, 2022.

 

Ohio came (home) to bury Michigan, in maize, and blue, and white

The words were read, the prayers were read, but only some cried....

When they closed the coffin in Columus, there was someone else inside!

 

The Bucks came (home) to bury the Wolverines, revenge for 2021

But Michigan was far, oh so far, from dead.

And when the game was over, someone else had died instead.

 

Our Michigan Wolverines put on accesories of white.

And as Zhang played the Victors, they once again bid Ryan Day goodnight.

 

GO BLUE and HAIL TO THE VICTORS!!

But when the game was over

It was someone else instead

Put on the gloves of grey

And as  Pasquale played "The Victors"

They laid Ryan Day away!
