It's designed to keep the surface at least 55 degrees.

Well... underground. Helps the grass stay alive and makes it better to fall on than ice. Doesn't do much for the warmth of the players. Groundskeeper admitted this week that the surface would be subpar despite their best efforts.

Notable: Pulisic, Aaronson and Dest on the bench. Not as much of a surprise given that there are 5 subs available for these games, but still a massive risk by Berhalter (as was the decision to play in St. Paul in February, which a USSF rep was quoted as saying Berhalter had a "51% vote" in).
Anything but 3 points, Berhalter has to go.

I’m trying to get my kids to bed so I’m admittedly being lazy so hopefully one of you can explain how they decide where to play these games? I mean, it’s February 2nd, didn’t anyone think that playing in Minneapolis might be an issue?
